I took more away from this than I have from lectures I have paid for in the past….it is amazing how giving Peter is. Thank you so much. Also as an autistic person who is a father to autistic kids I found this inspirational.
This was the best stream ever! Peter Turner is a master creator and I love his presentation. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks a lot Lloyd for this fantastic interview with Peter Turner... it is like the "cherry on the cake" of your channel!
This was just true brilliance. Peter Turner is a Wizard !!!!!!!!
Thank you! this stream changed so much!!!
It was great value here! thanks
Gutted I missed this live, Pete is even better than I realised. I can't believe he even got you to cross-cut yourself Lloyd, amazing stuff
Finally finally after an initial non delivery, managed to get my hands on the Reurrected V2 deck. Lovely.
Just bought the video project… none of the video links still work, same with all the socials and the website …are no longer up…:((. So disappointing….

I am so sad i missed this one
I'd also love to know what the out is if the specator igored the timing force as at 1:37:52 - like how do you keep track of the card then? Would it also work if you suggested they could cut immediately before they reached the 16th position (in addition to the timing force interjection) to get the card to the bottom? PS when Pete was blinking before then like on 7th position or something was that just blinking or double bluffs 😂
Just so you know, I've had a serious amount of rum, this won't be happening all the time. You owe me 😂
P.P.S odds on for 50k in less than 2 months Lloyd you legend mate
Everything Turner has put out has been in circulation for yrars
stunning...
Surprised he didn't take the opportunity to plug his new peek wallet.
Aaah I actually know who it is and it ain’t Pete. Who else do you think it could be?
@@LloydB I said peek, not peak LOL

At 90 minutes pete talks about performing effects to match the style of someone's job. I actually think this is a bad idea. I once took a layman friend to see a Luke Jermay show he did for the public. Luke did a book test and said it was a random paperback they grabbed from a bookstore that day. My friend who is a librarian told me later they knew the book wasn't normal. It didn't look right and was the wrong size. Someone with intricate knowledge of a particular area might be able to see through methods other people might not.
Do a book test for your friend at their work with a book they choose at random and I'm sure it would blow their mind. There are exceptions to everything. Making magic or mentalism more personal or relevant/relatable for someone is definitely not a bad idea.
If you know who you’re performing to, you have the opportunity to do some research and gain a tiny bit of expert knowledge about the person and their work that may be mind-blowing if you can fit it in. Did you notice that when Peter was mentioning jobs, he said photographer, and the example he gave was of a photo of a wave crashing onto a lighthouse… which is exactly the subject of the photo that Lloyd took which went viral a few years ago…(which he mentioned on the Magic podcast a few weeks ago.) Probably not a coincidence…
@@MichaelLawrenceMagic Personally i wouldn't give a pair of gimmicked handcuffs to a police officer, do a phone trick to an app developer or stop my pulse for a doctor as i think you have a much higher risk of getting busted. I know that David Berglas and Luke did stop their pulse for nurses but im honestly surprised this fooled them and suspect the pressure of being on camera made them play along. If you can frame a presentation around someone's job its better but i certainly wouldnt use gimmicked items that they would notice more than someone not in that field, its just asking for trouble in my opinion.
@@magicmagicman I agree with you. You seem to be arguing a point that no one has made. Pete's suggestion was about presentation. You can do an impromptu book test.
@@MichaelLawrenceMagic Just as long as the principle used doesn't rely on something a librarian would know about. Like using the barcode number from the selected book for the page and line to get the word. The librarian would know that the first 4 digits of all barcodes on books are the same, whereas other people might not.
Sorry for fanboying bro but you get paid per comment right?? 😂
