With Marvel’s Daredevil season 3 now streaming on Netflix, I recently got to sit down with Vincent D’Onofrio, Jay Ali, Joanne Whalley and Elden Henson to talk about the newest season. During the interview, the cast talked about playing characters that are so well written and three dimensional, what it was like working with new showrunner Erik Oleson, how much of the story they knew before filming started, and D’Onofrio talks about when he found out he’d be returning as Kingpin.
Since I know how careful everyone is about spoilers, all you need to know about Daredevil season 3 is Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) has been missing for months. After the long hiatus, he returns a broken man questioning his future. When Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, he’s forced to choose if he should embrace his destiny as a hero or continue hiding from his friends and the world. Daredevil also stars Deborah Ann Woll, Peter McRobbie, Ayelet Zurer, and Wilson Bethel.

D'Onofrio's performance in Daredevil is in my top 3 best actors who played a villain list. Awesome by all means.
i just found out Joanne Whalley played the evil queen's daughter in Willow. crazy how small Hollywood is. u watch a tv show and not realize that a familiar looking actor is the same one from a movie u watched in your childhood. what a gorgeous woman, specially in her prime

I really enjoyed season 3. This really was the rise of Wilson Fisk's transformation to The Kingpin. D'Onofrio's Fisk really Matt Murdock a run for his money. I think this was the story that should have been used for the 2003 Daredevil.
Raghu Seetharaman I think that would’ve been impossible, this only worked because they earned it from what they established in previous seasons
I liked over all speed at which Fisk was doing his thing. but i didn't like one or two things he did on the side, like killing that woman Dex needed as social support. I mean. all he needs her to do there in that moment is for her to say "dont disturb me again". and he just kills her even though, this kingpin character is way more nuanced, and this chemistry and shit he is trying with Dex from minute 1, is way more subtle, and suddenly he just comes and removes her. just like a retarded writer suggesting "hey, we'll need this as a way to make dex go after kingpin in climax, so lets do it". Apart from that one single stupid thing he does, like a B villain, everything he does, and his motives, are fantastic. Even his relationship story was so good. Like what she says "you want me to be around your stuff" lol. was so funny and yet in this storyline, made so much sense. So when he lets in on her, you almost feel as happy for him as you'd for a protagonist. That is the most WIN he gets, (a lot similar and closer to thanos if you ask me), and the ending, makes so much movement to the storyline. its like 12 hours of Kingpin winning, and 5 minutes of BRILLIANT scene, where so much WIN WIN WIN happens and then story makes way more sense. and matt murdoch has a happy ending after 3 seasons.
Him and Charlie Cox should be in a Spiderman movie. Definitely should not recast
Why on earth would you use it for 2003 daredevil? You have to build up who Matt is before you break him down and give him rebirth.
They would be stupid if they recasted actors such as Cox and Dinofrio

Season 3's cinematography was bad compared to the last 2 seasons. But the story, characters, and preformance are what made this season great.
