Charlie as Matt is so on point that from time to time I mistakenly believe he is actually blind.
He really needs to be at least nominated for an Emmy or Golden Globe for his work on the series!
Yeah, he went out of his way to make himself temporarily blind to work out exactly how a blind person would act and then used that to play Matt as perfectly as he could. Interestingly enough, he apparently got turned down the part of Han Solo in Solo as he didn't make enough eye contact in the audition.

u probably know this but he went to a center of the blind to see and study how they are;very caring of the blind ppl- s'posed to get an award a few years ago???
Yeah, he put tonnes of effort into studying exactly how to play a blind character, then used things like those contacts that blind you and things like that to really perfect his performance.

No lie. Agent Nadeem was such a realistic character and to see him die was a shame but his death was not in vain and in the end because of him, daredevil refound himself and that helped justice prevail

Charlie is a GREAT Matt Murdock. This is my favorite Marvel show. It's believable, it's dark as hell, casting is straight on point. Daredevil would be a great member or even an awesome cameo performance in an Avenger film

It's all in execution. Y'all gotta remember that these characters are all based on the comics. And yes, all of these characters, some grounded and gritty, others more fantastical, have ALL crossed paths in some shape or form, regardless of their individual sensibilities. If a guy like Batman can kick with the Justice League, Daredevil doesn't look all that out of place, fighting alongside a Spider-Man or any other members of the Avengers. I get comics is a different medium altogether. But again, it's in the execution. The Cinematic universe has proven you can pull it off with a wide-array of characters. The writing and story need to be there to justify this kind of crossover.

I started this show in 2022 (I know I’m late to the party) but it was truly nothing short of spectacular how amazing this show was constructed and how brilliantly these fine actors portrayed their roles !

I was meant to watch it waaay before but idk why I didn't bother continuing on watching back then :( anyway, I recently just finished all 3 seasons and I'm definitely gonna watch it again. really hope that the new show on disney+ will be just as good as the netflix series (and hopefully they retain all the actors from the show and not just Charlie and Vincent!)

Watching this after its cancelation is heartbreaking, least of all for the cast. Charlie Cox in particular seems to have a real passion and love for Matt as a character and this shows when answering the fan questions a lot. Also, mad respect for Erik Olsen who crafted one of the best seasons of tv that I've ever seen. In many ways, its fitting that DD was cancelled as nothing was ever going to top what they had accomplished already.

I just finished Season 3. All I can say is that it was epic. The casting for this series is phenomenal. As a long-time fan of Daredevil comics, I was blown away by how awesome this season is. I can't wait until Season 4. 😎

Couldn't agree more. S1 and S2 were each PHENOMENAL and I couldn't see how it could get better. But they did it. As far as I'm concerned DD is the Citizen Kane/Godfather I & II of the 21st C MCU.

Jay Ali's character felt like a drag to me at first but the character development for his character was fabulous, ended up being one of my favorites this season.
I really wish that Jessica and Matt has more scenes together. Their chemistry in defenders is really entertaining to watch.

I agree. Bethal is now on a cable TV show called All Rise. He plays a feisty ADA. Pretty tame stuff compared to DD. The show revolves around a newly appointed judge played by the actress who Played Misty Night. The show is in it's second season so they must have been hired right after all the shows were cancelled.
Charlie Cox is has a great sense of humility and sense of humor. Loved Jay Ali and Wilson Bethel! I'm literally obsessed with the show! Perfect casting! Excellent storyline! Amazing balance of action and emotion!

I started watching this show this january and finished season 3 just now. first of all, i cannot believe i hadn't even known about the existence of this mind-blowing work until a couple months ago. i now know that charlie was in a couple movies that I loved such as 'the theory of everything' but honestly i don't even remember seeing him in it. I really discovered charlie cox through this show. discovering this show and charlie cox as daredevil in 2022 gives me such a mixture of feelings. If i've been following in real time, it would've been sooooo frustrating cause nothing happened for the past three years until 'no way home.' charlie clearly wants to do more and he's still so passionate about this character. he says something is on the way. i just hope it doesn't take too long. i can't believe i'm saying this but i'm looking forward to seeing him come back more than any other marvel shows or movies. charlie and the original showrunners have to come together again.
It's always amazing to see how the actors are so different from the characters they're playing. Their accents, personalities.. makes you appreciate a lot more what they do.

It's great to see Joanne Whalley from Willow playing Maggie Murdock was great. Brits are great when it comes to playing American characters. Her arc for sure will be interesting. Also Vincent D' Onofrio's Wilson Fisk dawning the classic white attire from the comics was so great. Then Bullseye debut with him impersonating Daredevil gives chills.
At this point, he's not yet "Bullseye". He's starting the season as Benjamin Poindexter.

Benjamin Poindexter is the alias that Ultimate Bullseye uses. In the classic 616 comics, he's known as Lester. Either way, he's going to be brutal and vicious. I hope they don't give him a sympathetic backstory, because some villains are just psychotic and pure evil and Bullseye is one of them. So excited for Season 3!

Dynamo HD that still has major british played characters in it. Dinah and jigsaw actors are both british. Loads of major characters in the shows are played by Brits. DD, iron fist, Killgrave, Coleen, Jess’s mum, and more.
Lawrence Stevens Luke Cage Jessica jones have a predominately American cast. And for DD and iron fist it’s only like the Matt, Danny, and a few others.
Dynamo HD I’m not saying they have a majority, im saying they have a pretty high proportion considering the U.K. population, this show being produced, set etc in America and most playing American characters. That’s what I meant. Considering Brits play 2/5 of the title characters, as well as major side characters like Colleen, madani, in addition to villains like killgrave and Davos. They certainly have left their mark on the Netflix shows considering it’s just an island, with a population with 5 times less the population of the US.

Good lord this show was so damn good from top to bottom. Jay Ali killed it in a role I really wasn’t that interested in going into it but was sucked into the drama of his character. The main trio where outstanding as they have been. Joanne rocked it as Sister Maggie and Wilson Bethel KNOCKED POINDEXTER OUT OF THE PARK!!! Took on one of the most iconic villains that could’ve easily skipped into campy-ville, and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time
Charlie Cox is the best daredevil on the screen ..............and all the other main characters in all the 3 seasons are just fabulous I have watched this show & the Punisher dozens of times now & still love every episode .......cant wait for new episodes to come out
I like the enthusiasm from the host but I feel he is high on something lol. The trailer for Daredevil season 3 went back to how it all started in season 1. Seeing Matt dawning the classic black suit from the comics from the Frank Miller arc is always great to see. Here you see he is going back to the basics fighting gritty to get the job done. Here you see the fight between the Darkness and the Light where Darkness is the Hero and light is the villain who is very cold, calculating and buying his time. Seeing Wilson Fisk wanting to break Matt Murdock both physically and mentally is what season 3 is going to be all about.

Best Marvel show I think by far. Incredible cast. Loved Wilson Bethel in season 3 as Poindexter/Bullseye. Hope they bring him back. I continue to be super impressed with Charlie because he’s soooo good as Matt/Daredevil but so different in real life. I mean the tone of voice on top of the accent is crazy. (Also feel so bad for him having to wax the chest hair, I’m not used to seeing him with chest hair.) Same with Vincent as Kingpin. Phenomenal cast and writing. Bravo. Can’t wait for more. ❤️

This was my first time actually hearing Charlie Cox and it threw me for a loop. He's Matt Murdock as far as I knew him. Deborah and Elden sound exactly the same which is probably why it shocked me as much as it did.

Man, if I was there I definitely would've asked them about their thoughts on the Punisher show, and any potential future crossover with Punisher. His moments in Season 2 were some of my favorite, especially the Punisher-Daredevil moments. And especially since Punisher has had some big fights with Bullseye in the comics too! Getting to see a moment with Daredevil, Bullseye, and Punisher together in the Netflix MCU would be my dream.
I love this cast!!! Good interview. Loved seeing Joanne Whalley with so much experience nail the role of Maggie and the show dropped that bomb about her real relationship with Matt. Love the choreography on this show - second to none, and so very creative - like with all those office supplies being hurled around by Matt and Dex/Pseudo Daredevil. I'm looking forward to the next season!

Elektra Nachos she has great chemistry with Charlie. And I love how Elektra makes Matt feel. I think we might have a tiny cameo. This show is so secretive. The actors can’t say anything. So I think he lied when he said she didn’t walk out of there alive. They want to shock and surprise us, hence they are changing many things and don’t necessarily follow the comics. Looks what they did with Karen for instance. Her story is soooo different from the comics, not to mention Elektra with her parents and origin.
Same. I love her. The chemistry between Charlie and Elodie amazing. I understand she's not the main focus this season but I need her to show up for the 1-2 episodes (11 and 12). Help Matthew inthe penultimate fight against Bullseye and then talk some sense into him about the darkness. Then she can leave and the final episode can be all about Matthew vs Bullseye.
Elektra Nachos To be honest all the Hand/Elektra stuff didn't age well. They were all outdated and the whole ninja plot took it too far from what made DD great which was a grounded hero and storyline. I'd rather move away from that and move towards the bendis and brubaker runs and finally bring in Matt's wife

I must say as a huge daredevil fan I am incredibly disappointed in myself for not realizing that that guy was gonna be bullseye 😂 I just didn’t think the show would ever use him. And honestly this guy doesn’t look creepy. But seeing the show he definitely is 😂. He’s a great actor and I’m glad he got the chance to play bullseye. Kinda.
