My daughter and I went there. We didn't like the caverns. Just wasn't what we thought. The people were very friendly

Thank you. It's a beautiful place to ride. Be SURE to check out Cades Cove also. We have some videos from the Cove on our RitchAdventures UA-cam and I will be doing a bike around the Cove video in April as well. Thanks for watching!

What a beautiful place, I am looking to move to Townsend or Maryville but I love the country and steering towards Townsend. It's expensive that I do know.

It is a little pricey, especially housing as compared to Central Alabama. But I gotta say, between the beautiful scenery, the wonderful people of Townsend and its location to major facilities in Maryville, it would be worth the extra cost whenever possible.

@@ritchadventures585 I have to agree, there is so much to do and everything is close and yet you have the peace and beauty all around you.

Nice tour, calm and informative. Sometimes the music is louder than you are, that could be true ned down a bit.

My mom's family is from Townsend, the ledbetter's originally from Cades cove,I'm sure you've heard the name. I turned 50 years old this year, I remember going to the shopping center when I was really little with my grandparents. It broke my heart when I heard the store had burned down.
