You definitely did the right thing with the 511 and not voiding the warranty. There are all kinds of things you can do to it down the road if you plan on keeping it for any length of time. Keep up the good work!
Looks like a good option. Power delivery, tone and rideability overall makes it a vast improvement. I'm debating on a cam, but also very pleased with my TAB header and Khromewerks mufflers with tune. Great video, I love how snappy the cam is.
Looks like a lot of fun. Any noticeable difference with fuel consumption? Only asking as I still want to ride long distances between fuel stops but still have the extra performance. Cheers!
i was considering going to aftermarket cam but considering this bike engine is little different I think keeping warranty is a smart thing to do for sure
@ Cat is still in there, and yes I used the SE Tuner. I may change the head pipes at some point and remove the cat but for now I’m fine with it. I want to put some miles on first before doing anything else.
The sound whither loud, or quiet is in the exhaust, not the cam. It sounds same as my stock Road Glide Special with Rinehart mufflers. At least on camera the cam doesn’t seem to change the sound at all. No lope, or big cam sound.
@@davegayaldo It’s loud, it’s just not “my neighbors hate me” loud 🤣🤣. I wanted something with a really nice deep growl but wouldn’t make my ears ring for 3 hours after riding 500 miles.

@@MikeCarpenter-n2u 100%, just getting started but this is the right decision for the moment.
Bike sounds great! Enjoyed meeting you this weekend, good luck with the channel.

@@jasonbreedlove495 It’s a great option, I really like it. Great for touring, good sound but not obnoxious and very solid power.
Sounds really good!

@@robandangie7775 I haven’t had a chance dig in on fuel consumption yet. But I believe it’s still pretty good.
@FullTankAdventures okay, thanks. 👍
@ It’s more of touring cam so my expectation is that fuel consumption is still good.
@FullTankAdventures good to know. I'll look forward to any update videos you do. Thanks for sharing!

Sounds really good. Are you going to change the header pipe ?
@@kellybgliding Maybe eventually. Not for a bit I don’t think.

It’s always nice when you can get more power and stay under warranty. Bike was moving!

What are you doing to/with your clutch...not going to last long imho
@@canadiankrispybacon Trying to rev it higher for the camera and not get arrested for going too fast 🤣🤣
stock clutch is good up to 150hp no need to change. do research.

Debating if it’s worth $2k? (doing the work myself)
@@dhc8guru Absolutely. I love it.
Do use a custom mode? It allows you to increase the throttle response and kind of puts sport to shame.
@@thealien6900 I do use the Custom mode, it’s awesome!
Hi Full tank, did you remove the cat and use the Screaming Eagle tuner along with the 511 cam

A cam certainly does change the sound Larry!!!
