Great review, thanks! I'm very tempted to buy this but I really wanted it to have an optional fan cap like the Creos PS-290. Of course Iwata don't make it so you can use an interchangeable fan cap from another model.
Love my trn-2 Wanted something bigger then an airbrush but smaller then lph-80 to paint 2k paint and cerakote on gunparts , so it needed to float out the paint. I was tipped by famous david Gunnarsson (daveart) couse he used this for years on his masks just for the base and especially the 2k clear over tye masks, couse it float out really good. He went over to lph-80 but this works like a champ for this 🤘
this is the only airbrush I've ever owned and it works like a champ. it does have downsides though. since its only a single action airbrush, you have to control both the air and paint flow with how far you pull the trigger back. It would be a vast improvement if they included an airflow knob on this brush

Agree that China can be hit or miss , I have found the Gaahleri airbrushes to so far be quite decent for the price , time will tell as to how they perform and last in the long term 👍🏻🤞🏻

No they don’t unfortunately 🤦 you could also look at the iwata hp.th which has a round and regular fan pattern however it will be fairly pricey 👍🏻

I'd added this to my arsenal, a couple years ago. I like it, it's a nice brush

I picked up this sketch book from Kmart but you could also find something similar on Amazon 👍🏻

@@lukemate2783 I thought dual action was when you have one action to release the air and one action to release the paint. Like a normal airbrush
@@blitzme99 it’s still dual action because you pull back for air and then pull back further for paint release and work off that paint/air barrier

What type of paper are you spraying on
This is an A3 exercise book which I picked up from Kmart, the paper is similar to many art pads 👍🏻
