in my experience having a little bit of gel on your natural hair helps a lot with the tucking, it stays more secure and doesn't slip out as easily!

Quick tip for you sis… next time use the got2b freeze blast or some old sprits that will help keep your own hair in place when you braid …. But you done good 👍🏽 💫
Yea when doing this method (especially with thick long natural hair) its a struggle trying split your natural hair and the braiding hair at the same time and have it come out neat...i had to re do mines because of this same problem. I had my boyfriend help me separate the three legs with my natural hair

How do you maintain your hair in that style? What do you do when your baby hairs fizzy up, or if your hair does? I was hoping if it's possible if I can hold that hairstyle in a few weeks?
It’s more of a style for events. It can last for at most a week. I say this because the baby hairs must be curled daily & that can cause heat damage.

Just loop one side of the rubber band through the other side of the rubber band, then place ur hair through the loop. U do this after u use a scrunchy to pull ur hair in a ponytail
