- So Golden on Italy this game had a big excursion into Africa and with the Axis winning hard in both the UK and Africa they got very confident.
Safe to say, they launched a naval invasion that would be either a huge W or a huge disaster in this HOI4 MP in a Nutshell.

Watched this game from the allies perspective also. They were banking on Italy to go Africa Safari and lose their entire army, like a Golden classic but România invading India was unexpected. Fun game!😁

In all these vids I have to say it never seems like a Sealion, even when sucessful is worth it. It just ends up being more shit to garrison at the end of the day.
capping the UK basically removes a major from the allies. If Japaan wasn't so weak they could've easily used this advantage to break the pacific and help out in africa
Just like the above comment say, but also there's other reason: When they managed to grab gibraltar and egypt, it allowed them to free troops they prepared for mediterranean d-day wall. It's because gibraltar strait and suez canal are the only gates to mediterranean sea, every fleet that's inside the sea is trapped (US was trapped i believe), and also no invasions from the sea. You essentially get a second full army. But, *Spoiler* they lost that advantage when their invasion on british raj did not work out. Either way, this makes a very interesting video - we rarely see such a huge advantage for axis this early in the game. This game was interesting till the end, usually people leave before they die, or die in really awkward moments thanks to collab government on them, germany though had less than one state and still kept clinging on, i like this!
