"Let's Learn Cloud" Thank you very much Lucy for providing such an incredible breakdown of the roadmap. Someone that is coming from a non-tech background, I initially was very intimidated. But after following your channel and listening to several other individual testimonials, it makes me feel actually motivated to know that I am not alone when it comes to changing a career and honestly makes me excited on this journey. Looking forward to further videos. Thank You!
Thank you, Lucy! The options for cloud certs are overwhelming, but with your guidance I now know how to proceed. Please continue to share your knowledge and expertise!
I take my SAA exam next Friday and I’ve been messing with Ai for about a year. I had no idea there was a Machine Learning route and that’s definitely something I want as a career. Glad you touched on this 🙏🏿🙏🏿. Thank you
Your videos are very motivating Lucy, thanks. I was in the process of shopping for certifications after my RHCE, not really knowing which direction to commit to, and you sold me on AWS. You also made very clear what solutions architects do, that sounds nice. I feel like I have a clear roadmap towards a well-defined career now, thanks again. :)
I'm currently working on an Bank Industry here at the Philippines as an Cloud Engineer. I don't have any certification in aws. But I'm planning to get started from the cloud practitioner cert and definitely follow this roadmap. Thanks lucy
There is nothing special about the cloud, it's literally tech that people used to do on their own servers but at scale using other companies tools. And the more I look into the certification paths, its like most certifications, just a cash grab
Hey Lucy! "Let's Learn Cloud"!! Thanks for another great and informative video! As things are changing in the cloud space, it's becoming more difficult to decide which path is right for me and which path will provide the best opportunities but you have provided a solid foundation path for us to consider and I appreciate it! As usual, be well, be safe and Cheers!!!
Lets learn CLOUD! Thanks again Lucy. Very nice video and simply put guided pathways to any AWS solution. Between you and "Cloud with GPS", our beginning Cloud knowledge is off to a good start.
Lets learn cloud ! Thank you for this Lucy. Unbeknownst to me, I was already following the Machine Learning Engineer path. I just passed my Sysops Associate and now studying for the Developer Associate. I was already going to do Machine Learning Specialty later down the line because I had a personal interest in it. But now with this new information I might just go for it sooner than later. I would Love to be a Machine Learning Engineer.
Thank you Lucy your content is complete and very specific to the point. My take away is the part about blocking a time to study for the cert. - Let's learn cloud.
Let’s learn cloud. Thanks Lucy for this. I’m going for the software development route because I already have experience doing full stack work and want to add aws certification to open the door to more possibilities involving what I’ve already done
Let's learn cloud! I appreciate your videos and more specifically can relate on the desire to learn more associate certs, before moving forward. Currently have my CCP and I am going for my SAA, but I just started my cloud journey in November of 2023. It all seems rather fast and firehose type information lol
"Let's Learn Cloud", I have been a IT Specialist for the last 10+, I say 10+, since I did un-official (not certified) IT support for more then 10 years, before my A+ and other Certs. I am very interested in learning Cloud Infrastructure, so I am looking into AZURE and AWS. Since I am currently working in a NON IT role, (left my IT Role back in 2022, due to Federal Covid Mandate) I am looking to start out at the bottom, so I am looking at the 900 series Azure exams and then some of the low end AWS. Just to get my knowledge and skills better. Great Information.
Really love your podcast! Hopefully, you could sometime share your insights on the 2 different Cloud Learning paths: the one for people who wants to switch to IT career and the one for people who has a bunch of IT experience (over 20 years). I mean - sure - if someone is new into the IT field, those Learning paths may work well as those cover from the very tech basics to advanced topics. But - in my experience - people who has a diverse experience across all IT tech fields - including The Cloud - those learning paths just do not work as there is a lot time wasted in walking again through the all basics randomly across Learning Path lectures - a really slow down and discouraging experience. Just merely a topic suggestion (:
Hi, I remember when I started my sales career in IT I studied the CompTIA A+ and N+. Would you suggest the same route to a teenager who's just completed high 🏫 or they go straight to the AWS cloud practitioner?
Hi, I am learning AWS and thanks to you I have a path to focus on. Can you make an elaborated video on Projects for beginners, Associate level kinda so that we can show case over linkedin . You know how algorithm works ;)
So I am entry levle job seeking guy.. And I am preparing for AWS Solution Architect Associate. My question: Should I need to do cloud practitioner for definitely or can I go with Solution Architect Associate and seek for entry level job does. Is that works?

Let’s learn cloud! What are you thoughts on the aws cloud institute they just announced? I wanted to go into a solutions architect role but was highly recommended to get into this institute first to be a developer first before jumping into a solutions architect. Hope you hear your thoughts here or on the next video lol :) love your content, keep up the good work
"Lets learn Cloud" I am a front end developer with a good knowledge in Angular and React with 13 + years of frontend experience I am not able to claim the lader above lead, what AWS Certification will u recommend?

It took me about 1 year after the associates - but I wasn’t studying the whole year! Probably need about 4-5 months of proper learning

Are the certifications from Coursera and those directly from the AWS website the same?
