We loved this estate sale!! It was the biggest house we have ever been to an estate sale in for sure, and it had so many cool vintage and unique items. You know we love whenever we can find ephemera and old photographs, too, so that was the cherry on top! We show the full haul when we get home :) Thanks so much coming along with us and we hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
That was amazing! Prices were pretty high though. Up here in North Dakota, they practically throw it away, the prices are so inexpensive. I really appreciate how frugal you both are! Gorgeous ephemera! Thanks again for a great upload! ❤
I love you channel, but unfortunately it's a Federal crime to open mail that is not addressed to you by the United States Postal Service even if you bought it , your not allowed to open it. Edit to : Google laws about opening mail for the United States Postal Service and what you can be charged for by doing so , if you put in on the internet then you supplied legal services with evidence. Postal Inspection Services may press charges even if the persons are deceased as a law to not allow anyone to open another person's mail that is being mailed with the United States Postal Service. 😳
I appreciate how you don’t ridicule the decor style in estate sales. Last year my parents, ages 95 and 99, sold the family home to a grandson, and moved into assisted living. The second my parents moved out, the grandson and his girlfriend came in and began to remodel, which is fine. But the girlfriend would criticize the “old fashioned” things in the home. It was hard to hear, because our parents hosted all the family get togethers for nearly 60 years, and many cherished memories happened there.
Aw I’m sorry that happened, we try never to criticize someone else’s preferences. Even if a home isn’t our preferred style, it is someone’s and I’m happy they created a space they loved and could enjoy!
I’m 53 and it breaks my heart that people are so stuck on what is outdated in a home. I believe a home is filled with things that makes you happy. Our adult children are going to be 29 and 27 next week . Our son lives with his fiancée and is getting married this year. Our daughter is looking for her 1st apartment. They both have been honest with us about certain items that they want to keep including family photos and certain decorations but, for the most part they do not want any of our antiques or furniture because it’s not their style. Maybe our future grandchildren will want some things. We shall see.
We received a brown grocery bag full of Green Stamp books for a wedding present. We were able to shop for anything we needed to set up our house. BEST GIFT EVER!!! Once the other women at the shower saw the gift, I received more and more every Sunday that I went to church or Usher board meeting!!! It was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Loved watching you finding things at the second estate sale!! So many memories for me in what you two found! Mommy saved S & H green stamps and got so many things for our family with them. My Dad was a Korean War veteran who was 100% disabled. The stamps were so helpful being on a fixed amount. I love you, Kelly and Alex!!
That green stamp brought back memories for me because my Mom and I would go to the stores that gave them out and then look through the catalog to pick out a gift. That one post card was from a Hamm Radio operator. I used to have a license but sadly I didn't remember to renew it and I was scared to use it any more. My call letters were KC4JIQ or jump in quick. LOL My ex husband took all the radios so I didn't have any way of still communicating. It is a fun but can be expensive hobby. You use the cards to send to the people you talk to all over the world.
I have to say that out of three people that I like to watch dumpster dive you guys are one of my favorites and may you stay together for a long time if you keep doing what you're doing you guys will be you can say in 67 years how long you've been with each other just remember don't never go to bed angry at each other makeup because you never know what to expect in life
Brought back memories of my mom saving the green stamps for my tiny tears doll. I do appreciate you both going to these sales. Love seeing the old dolls to.🎉
That is so weird about the unopened letters! Did you notice both the sender and the recipient are on the same street? Copperas Cove is a city 10 minutes away from us. If you Google the addresses, they lived across from each other!
Kelly & Alex...Have you ever tried Google lense on your phone...It's on your Google search bar next to the microphone..just hit it to take a photo of something & it will show you the value of what they sell for & if there are other items the same as yours and what they sell for...
@12:20 I was hoping you’d notice that rare, gorgeous off-white lamp with thin shade! Wow!! What a find. Brilliant design. I wish u checked it closer for price too.
Single stitch vintage tshirts can be worth alot of money. Especially rock band concert shirts. And I've always heard weird sales 😅 Thanks for another video!
I'm loving that yall are keeping up with daily videos. Yall 2 are 1 of my favorite people to watch. Yall just have the best energy together and are so giving in everything yall do . Stay humble and blessed.
The card is from a Ham Radio exchange. My late husband did Ham Radio. When you contact someone long distance you exchange cards with your call sign and country of origin. Many Hams spend a lot of time on the radio and doing this. It is a lot of fun to talk randomly to people all over the world.
Great photos you got..I was goimg through my Moms old pics and some ate dated back in the 50s and 60s plus I have pics of me as a baby and as a kid..then I found a letter/card dated back to 1970 that my grandma wrote a letter and aend a card ti me on my 10th birthday, I will be 64 in March..
Love your dives, whether it's for ephemera, or food or other goodies. Then the estate sales, rife with many things of immense value to those who have gone before, and then a different, but still strong, value to those discovering its enchantment. Your kindness and excitement over the different finds is endearing and uplifting, and I thank you for it. Many blessings to you both. ❤️❤️
Love the daily vids..... and I thought I was the only one loves digging through old photos and tid bits... so fun... my next is old buttons in tin cans....
I love seeing peoples different tastes in house mostly over the years. Older homes. Modern to me is just to not as cozy. Oh my gosh two seconds before you said what a big house I was thinking oh my gosh what a big house haaaa. Oh my gosh love all the things you got!! I so love old too. Very magical wonderful stuff. Looking forward to the next news letter. hugs
It's very nice to see how much you enjoy the old photos. I am going through an estate right now and there are so many things to go through. I would love to send you some.
Hi! Question! Is your P.O. Box the same as what you’ve put in the description of some of your previous videos? I found a huge box of paper ephemera and photos for $5. at an estate sale Here in Austin I want to share with you! ❤Donna
This is going to sound cheesy, but I actually saved yesterday's video for today? Why? So I could watch 2 videos in a row. You haven't missed a video a day yet, and I, for one, am so grateful. I LOVE the estate sale videos. You guys are fun & enjoyable to watch. Thank you for putting your time & energy into making more videos. ❤
That was a fun estate sale! The ephemera photos were really cool! I wouldn't worry about it being illegal to open those old envelopes with a letter in them. The original receiver may have steamed the envelopes open before and over time the envelope may have sealed up on its own. You could re-steam the envelope open again. It was a thing that was done in the old days to steam open an envelope. I have a lot of family black and white photos. It's fun going through them. Hi Bones!!! Have you taken a picture of Bones, yet on your new camera?
I wish I’d know when I cleaned out my mom’s bedroom after she passed that y’all loved ephemeral. My dad had kept quite a few photographs of a beauty contest in Louisiana; this was before he met my mom, lol. The beauty contest was from the early fifties when he was in the army. He also had a photo album filled with a lot of pictures with his travels in the army (he was sent to the Panama Canal) and pics of his army buddies. ✌🏼❤️
Love your video and I have so many black and whites and just hoping we still have them as we had a foreman years ago after moving in the shed and they may have been there but if I find I will send 🤗
Great estate sale buys. I saw the KISS pictures, they were nice, except one was missing, my cousin is or was in the band when they retired and I think his was the one missing. Thanks for everything you do for us, please don't get burned out recording every day, you guys deserve a day or two to yourselves. ❤😊😊😊😊
Towards the end of the video the Radio Club card is from a competition. My husband was into ham radio a few years ago he passed away in 2020. During a competition they would collect as many contacts to other people over the radio within a certain geographical distance or worldwide. The clubs or individuals would write out a card like the one you have. For example, a contest could be trying to collect a contact from every state, or every county, or as many countries worldwide! The location that had very few people with radios would be the hard ones to get. the contests were for a specific time like a single day or certain hours of one day. Hope this makes sense lol. If my husband was alive I know he could explain it better!
You two kids definitely have a lot of fun together on your adventures and treasure hunts which I definitely enjoy watching and sometimes I'm a little bit jealous of the great treasures you find but at least I know you saved them from the landfill and gave them a second chance at being useful to either yourselves or someone else keep up the good work. Pets cuddles kisses and scritches for Mr Bones ❤️❤️❤️
Kelly and Alex, I love the daily videos, they brighten up this 72 year old lady's day. Alao love to see Bones, he is so beautiful. I have a grandson/ cat that is black with the same beautiful eyes, his name is Yoshi. I also have a 13 year old minipin, her name is GLORY.
The problem with ppl charging so much for CD’s at $4 a piece, they will end up with all. I sell for $1 each at my garage sale, and last day 10 for $2… they overprice themselves out, and then end up with 80% left. It’s not gold. Mark down sellers!! U can’t hold onto to it. Give it a chance for another appreciator…
What a great estate sale! I once rescued a bunch of vintage photos that didn’t get sold at the estate sale of a photographer who was active during 1930’s-1970’s. (She had even photographed me a couple of times!) I ended up decoupaging those vintage photos on a wall in my home office. It was amazing!
You need to bundle all the stuff you want. Pile it by them, then low ball the price you're willing to pay. Not embarrassingly. So you can negotiate and meet in the middle. Be bold. 😄
The guy holding the fish, Was Privet Tom something and I think that was The Korean war. I love this kind of stuff also but I don't have to go far considering that my grandparents saved a lot of this stuff also.
Happy Sunday ❤ and We love all videos. Thank you for January Daily video. Love Part 2. ❤ and We love You and Bones. Move on and Have a wonderful Day ❤❤
For stuff like that that very few people are going to want, I would always take the box to them and ask them how much they want for the entire box no matter how much they are trying to sell them for individually before I would take the time to go through and pick out some that I want. If they don't make you a good enough deal on the entire box, then you can go through and be selective. They may have given you the entire box for $35 to $40 if you would have taken it to them in the first place and ask them.
Hi Kelly, the fisherman pic/Vietnam, the abbreviation, Pvt. is of the word Private (rank), Tom, and perhaps the last name is Harmon, Idk I cannot see it well enough on my screen. I once heard a great tip from art appraiser Dr Lori Verderame, that if you lay a piece of tracing paper over the word and, starting at the beginning, try to write it out, your brain will fill in the missing letters. It has worked for me in the past. Hope it's helpful for you and Alex. God Bless 💖✝🐈⬛
I really like the photo of the man reading the newspaper. Im so glad you bought the packs with the negatives in them. Great finds when I find ephemera I get lost for hours just looking at everything. So glad you two are interested in this. When I downsize Im going to send you a bunch it willbe in the next year or two and I'd prefer to give them to someone who will enjoy them.
We get lost for hours looking at them, too ❤ And if you do consider sending them to us know that they would be treasured! We’ve had a couple people mail us their family’s ephemera and we LOVE it!!
The fishing knife calls for a Dumpster diving fishing trip! You already got to the bouys!!! Hahaha keep collecting the fishing items and let's go on a trip!!! 🐟 🐠 🎣
Loved the pictures of back when people took the time to look "put together " when they left the house! Too many people don't bother to look into the mirror to see/realize they look sloppy. 😢
I wonder how much the flatscreen was and the snowboard? I’m thinking they overpriced everything, unless they plan to keep selling every weekend for a month.
You would love all of the pictures I have. Tons of pictures from the 30s 40s 50s 60s 70s etc. I keep planning to put them all in albums, but so far, I haven't. When we were remodeling the house, my grandfather built in 1930 we found a letter that my grandmother mailed to him from Pittsburgh. All we can figure is someone must have handed him the mail and after he read the letter, he just stuck it under a shingle on the side of the house and nailed it there. This was around 2006 that we found it and you could still read most of it! The address on the envelope was just his name, the town and state.....no street name or number! Things were much simpler back then. Come to NC and I will show you all of my treasures!!!
We loved this estate sale!! It was the biggest house we have ever been to an estate sale in for sure, and it had so many cool vintage and unique items. You know we love whenever we can find ephemera and old photographs, too, so that was the cherry on top! What a fun adventure
Wow Pickle, what a downer😂

I'm purchasing a kid's camera for my grandson, who is turning 7 on the 19th of January.. I know that he's going to enjoy it !
Brought back memories of my mom saving the green stamps for my tiny tears doll. I do appreciate you both going to these sales. Love seeing the old dolls to.🎉

That was a fun sale so many cool items!
I love the way one of you says “that’s cool” and the other says “very cool”. Stay cool you too
That long dining table fits a good amount of ppl and the room has an open feel. Nice house.
Most of those pictures look like my home photos when i was a kid. Love Ephemera as well!
I remember the green stamps when I was in Brenham with my Auntie that raised me.
That fishing knife brought back memories. I bought one for my dad about 60 years ago. Same style.😊
I just love old photos, the outfits and the way the actual picture looks so fantastic, I feel so taken back to that time.
Totally agree, they’re so awesome!
Kelly & Alex...Have you ever tried Google lense on your phone...It's on your Google search bar next to the microphone..just hit it to take a photo of something & it will show you the value of what they sell for & if there are other items the same as yours and what they sell for...
The fishing ruler/knife is so Cool. My father and grandparents had them. They loved to fish....Loving the old photos as well! TY for shart😊😊
Good morning all happy Monday morning to you and I hope you having amazing weekend and I loved your vlogs and I enjoy your channel
@12:20 I was hoping you’d notice that rare, gorgeous off-white lamp with thin shade! Wow!! What a find. Brilliant design. I wish u checked it closer for price too.
Oh wow! We didn’t notice it but you’re right, it’s beautiful!
Glad y’all found some goodies. Nice ephemera blast from others’ pasts. Thanks for taking us along to browse. 👍😍
Single stitch vintage tshirts can be worth alot of money. Especially rock band concert shirts.

I used to know a guy with the last name Pepper and he collected all the Dr. Pepper things. It was pretty cool. This was a great video :-)
This estate sale was awesome.
I love seeing peoples different tastes in house mostly over the years. Older homes. Modern to me is just to not as cozy. Hi! Question! Is your P.O. Box the same as what you’ve put in the description of some of your previous videos? I found a huge box of paper ephemera and photos for $5. at an estate sale Here in Austin I want to share with you!

The red water pitcher is gorgeous. It must be marked on the bottom.

Ha that’s awesome!! Thank you for your support and encouragement, it means a lot to us! ❤
I love that you two love the old stuff, me too! History is a big part of all our lives!! To see all The happening before us. Have a great dsy.
Near Chicago. It's cold here, so no Estate Sales. Fun to watch your daily videos. Tina, Al's wife
That was a fun estate sale! The ephemera photos were really cool! I wouldn't worry about it being illegal to open those old envelopes with a letter in them.
Thanks for doing it daily, I look forward to it.😊
Awww mr bones, the goods inspector, mr bones you are so cute. ❤❤❤
That house is huge!
I worked at halliburton in Oklahoma, it's an oil company. I worked in the offices with a cleaning crew.
Towards the end of the video the Radio Club card is from a competition. My husband was into ham radio a few years ago he passed away in 2020. The location that had very few people with radios would be the hard ones to get. the contests were for a specific time like a single day or certain hours of one day. Hope this makes sense lol. If my husband was alive I know he could explain it better!
Bones just wants his mom’s attention ❤
Love love love your daily videos ❤
Thanks
You two kids definitely have a lot of fun together on your adventures and treasure hunts which I definitely enjoy watching and sometimes I'm a little bit jealous of the great treasures you find but at least I know you saved them from the landfill and gave them a second chance at being useful to either yourselves or someone else keep up the good work.
Pets cuddles kisses and scritches for Mr Bones ❤️❤️❤️
Love this video, especially the fish knife.

Such a great video we love watching your videos keep them coming
Awesome finds.great estate sale 🙂🇨🇦
What a great estate sale! I once rescued a bunch of vintage photos that didn’t get sold at the estate sale of a photographer who was active during 1930’s-1970’s. (She had even photographed me a couple of times!) I ended up decoupaging those vintage photos on a wall in my home office. It was amazing!
How awesome!!
We used to do those green stamps 😅
.glad y’all got great deal.
My goodness, that house is huge! Love the ephemera ❤ Great score 😊
I have never been to an estate sale would love to go. I would buying unnecessary stuff but it would be fun. Love it!!!
I love that you love ephemera. I just hate that noone in the family wants the photos.
Whow nice find that was a big house keep up the good work God bless you both
Love it, love old pictures 😊
Love these estate sales. I never pay them price marked at these sales.
Happy Sunday ❤ and We love all videos. Thank you for January Daily video. Love Part 2. ❤ and We love You and Bones. Move on and Have a wonderful Day ❤❤

Great sale, some people use the sewing patterns for scrapbook and journals. 😊😊😊
Oh great idea!
Hello from Madrid 😍👍
Loved the pictures of back when people took the time to look "put together " when they left the house! Too many people don't bother to look into the mirror to see/realize they look sloppy. 😢

Hi Kelly and Alex and bone glad to see you all
Thanks for being here! ❤
