Question is not related to the video, if I buy a truck and not use it until the market is good do I still have to pay insurance for it every month even though it’s just sitting
@@chrispotter9165it takes a while before you make connects with good brokers. Tough in the beginning specially with these rates. Try Meg carriers they take 17%. And you get to pick from multiple load boards
Thanks man, I just joining Landstar today.
Good luck
Landstar Agents are wack
You should make a video showing the landscape loads
I'm in Nevada, is there enough freight out west with landstar to make 4k a week revenue?
Not really landstar runs more NE MIDWEST. Most loads go that way. They have going west but never really paid much
So what do you believe the average weekly net is with how the market is? I'm buying a truck this week and looking to lease it onto Landstar
You can net over 3 if you travel east.
@@CarLanguage thank you, I have heard don't go west stay east if you can
Sir can you do a video for canada usa crossborder loads

If it’s financed yes
@@CarLanguage what if it’s bought cash
@@shahnawazali2613 you should be fine. I no some ppl that have it parked in there garage and are not paying insurance
They pay 65% of that 2.55 so it is 1.66 a mile to the truck and thats garbage rate
What are the fixed expenses every week for land star
Like 130. Plate insurance etc
Dont lie bro, landstar deductions are about $400 @@CarLanguage
So the revenue shown is before or after landstar cut ?
Before. Thanks for watching
I keep
Missing the load whats faster ? On app?
App definitely
So the rates are before landstar gets their cut?
Yes. Fuel surcharge is %100 to the driver
you recommend landstar rn?
I do it’s bad everywhere for the most part but that insurance that covers your truck gives me piece of mind.
So if the load says it pays $3,200 you’re getting $2,080 on that load paid to you? Which would be 65% of $3,200. Is that right?
Correct
@@CarLanguage Is it worth it? Currently in the process of getting my own truck in a few days.
