Believe it or not, we actually went to work with the choir at San Quentin Prison. It may sound unbelievable, but some of the most talented individuals are behind bars or in the grave. During our visit, we spent hours collaborating with the inmates and their choir. Let me tell you, stepping inside San Quentin was an experience like no other - from the towering guard towers to the palpable sense of being in a prison environment. I got you were scared when you went to jail for the first time, something has to be wrong with you I think to NOT be scared, because it's not a nice place and many people in there are bad, and you being scared is your warning-system in your body trying to keep you alive, which is a good and healthy thing. But being in jail is not healthy...so make sure you never end up in jail.
