I love Alizhan as well. He's about the same height as me so I'm trying to emulate his training. I like how he's around 5'11 and might be the #1 left handed. It shows that you don't have to be 6'5 or something to be the best in the world haha. Also his hits are crazy. It's almost like he intentionally hits with a negative and opens himself up before sucking himself back to center. There's this one move that he does that seems so vulnerable but looks so cool in the Ivan match in the first round where he swings his hips and seems to throw his legs diagonally to the left out the other side of the table. The arms stay in the center and he opens up, but it's like he's still able to curl himself back into a tight position and you can tell that despite the arms not moving that it did a lot to Ivan. That negative hit move definitely makes armwrestling look like a martial art. I also look specifically at him vs Betkili at the way he moves his feet at the start. He's on his tip toes and he slides the back foot forward and then switches to leg up on the table pressing. It's a really cool style.
