- I decided to rank EVERY SINGLE Standard Starter Pokémon V, VMAX, VSTAR, ex, and Tera ex Pokémon based on their meta viability... and the results may shock you! Let's check it out!

Hey everyone, in typical PikipTCG fashion, I seemed to have forgotten about one other Starter: Hisuian Decidueye V/VSTAR 😅
I would personally rank both of them in higher C tier. The V is a solid setup and shred attacker, and the VSTAR is decent due to its alright VSTAR Power and okay attack, especially with Superior Energy Retrieval in the format. They're both not really great in this meta, but I needed to make sure they were added to the list! Apologies for forgetting about them! 🙃
Someone on the design team really hates venusaur for some reason

Hahaha even if you see the first base set, Venusaur got 100hp 60attack meanwhile Charizard got like 120hp and more offensive attack like wth going on
I’d argue that there are actually a good amount of fighting type weaknesses in the meta right now. Blissey, Arceus, Thorns, Miraidon, Raikou, etc.
Greninja’s ability to completely shut down Pokemon weak to it is amazing, as it can deal 340 to any of the Pokemon and then search for a boss to continuously take out any other Pokemon weak to it. It’s a great control card, but still not S tier IMO.
You're right, I severely underestimated how many meta decks and staples are weak to Fighting types! That's perfect reassurance that putting it in high A tier was the right call, thank you for pointing that out! :)

Due to the support-focused role that most other Radiants have, I felt like it was a bit too difficult to rank Radiants as a whole in comparison to the other Rule Box starters. That's why Radiant Greninja isn't on this specific list, but it would easily be S-tier on practically any tierlist!

Incineroar ex is actually pretty good
It's definitely a neat niche archetype and can be incredibly effective in this format, but it's usually overshadowed by other decks pretty easily, hence why I put it in B tier. It's still a really cool deck, though! :)

As someone who plays cornerstone ogerpon for charizard matchups, Delphox V is crazy good as a secondary option and it goes right through ogerpon cause it has no abilities
@@Bleed-ky4qq It would be an expensive KO (4 Energies in the Lost Zone), but it would work!
I also somehow forgot about manaphy 😅 but it’s still a good option, especially considering how awful c-mask ogerpon’s attack is lol
No radiants????
I decided to exclude Radiants because of the different purpose they serve in a deck. Since nearly every card on this tier list is designed to either be a centerpoint card or attacker, it's difficult to rank Radiants by using the same criteria since they usually serve more of a supporting role.
