Hey brother. I bought one of these and I have no idea how to use any of this stuff and I want you to know that your video did help me out however when it comes to the adapter for my iPhone, I have a new iPhone and I purchased a $16 adapter on Amazon, which has the lightning on one end let me know if that’s the right thing to do and if you would be able to take a minute out of your day to explain to me how the hell to make it work from that point on I would really appreciate it You got a nice going on I’m surprised you don’t have a lot more subscribers and views but if you keep doing things the way you’re doing you’re gonna absolutely blow up, bro
Thanks for the kind words. To your question. If what you purchased on Amazon is lightning on one end and 1/8th" (3.5mm) female on the other end to receive the aux cable, you should be good to go. The Godox has two small audio cables. One with black on both ends and another that has black on one end and grey on the other. The cable that is black on one end and grey on the other is the cable you want to connect the receiver to your Amazon adapter that you purchased.
@@KevinDeal I appreciate your response man So yes, that’s exactly what I purchased. It was. I think $16 for the adapter. I wish I could send you a picture. I’ll tell you the exact name of the item I purchased for the iPhone adapter GODOX GAC-IC10 Lightning to 3.5mm TRS Adapter Cable Male-to-Male Audio Cable Compatible with iPhone I sure hope I bought the right thing And again, I know you’re not here to babysit me lol. But I was hoping you could tell me how to do it. Do I just plug it in and everything will work right away or will I have to go into the settings on my iPhone?
@@bigbearweatherandmore6621 yes, it looks like what you purchase is compatible, so you're good to go. You need to have some sort of audio recording program in your phone.iPhones have Voice memos. They also have Garage band. But some sort of audio recording program combined with that adapter and your Godox kit and you're good to go.
@@KevinDeal Kevin, you are the man I appreciate that. I do have my voice recordings and stuff like that so that’s what I’m gonna use. I really appreciate you, my brother. And keep up the good work, man you’re very good at what you do
I don't know what is the difference between Godox WEC and Godox Movelink Mini because they are very similar in terms of price and functionality, but I also saw in some reviews that this WEC works on newer phones by plugging through USB with an USB-C to USB-C cable, which is nice.
Have you been able to get your hands on the Godox WEC Kit 2 Wireless Lav System? If so, what do you think?

Interesting. I wasn't aware of that.
Only missing internal recording and 32 bits float, no interface, not practical.
I agree.
