I don't think that people really care about your genetic traces. All people have some genetic trace of something or other. Take Brits, for example. They have on average a pretty good amount of African and middle eastern from VERY long ago. It is there, like in most Europeans, but the majority is still European, which is what people refer to as "white". They simply mean European. If your DNA is mostly European (white), then people will treat you as such. People can tell.
