That fucking banjo made the Drunk-Ben-Wrestling so much better
aaah, you do the 'jaw thing' when you shred, i do it too! it makes us look like we've just dropped loads of funky pills.
Glad to see the circadian chronicle is back. Keep it up nice vid :)
"You just fu***d my flat!" Made my day! Both because of Rob's comment, and because of Ben's face, hoping no one noticed hahahahaha
Thanks Chappers, thank you for this, it was really great. Please do some more lessons, you are such a great guitarist, it's really wonderful to watch you play but more amazing to see how precise your playing is when you slow it down a bit and show examples. Cheers!
I love these kind of videos, keep em coming!!
Sounds Awesome & Great Vid Here, Rob!! Big Thumbs Up!!
- Big Will / The Super Blues Universe
love these videos! keep 'em comin
Rob you're an amazing teacher. Thanks for the new flavors.
6:30 "is the best Tele I've ever played in my life"
Come on Rob XD. Ive watched two videos today alone where you say that. Love the videos btw, and I've played at least 5 "the best guitars I've ere played" myself.
You are fantastic at guitar man
I really enjoyed the rolling 5 tonic scale you use. Bravo!! It really helps me to expand my imagination on pentatonic scales. More please.
thanks for spreading your style out!
Damn I love you videos so much rob! thankyou!
Love the lesson videos!
Cheers from Uruguay bro! I love your videos.
Drunk wrestling with banjo accompaniment - priceless.
That was Awesome !
The First bend gave me the creeps ... It was crazy ...
Sounds almost like an imitated dive bomb :) .
So glad the Circadian Chronicle is back!
Lmao over the Ben's dad joke. LMAO!!!! SO Funny Chappers! Love you guys and Dorje!
hell yeah!!!! you're such a great guitarist and teacher and i was wondering why u didn't teach more until i remembered most of your early vids were lessons!!! off to re-watch them now :)
I wish I could freeze myself then wake up in a year when Chappers has put out a hell of a lot more videos. Could watch them for ever.
This is why I love watching Chappers and Andertons videos, I always learn something and I'm entertained.
Great episode, thank you.
"Be more creative with your bending ..."! Sounds saucy but good advice too! Cheers for the hendrix bend. And more Anderton's vids please!
the snow plow tip is a lifesaver ty
You are a great guitarist!
liked that outro 'Catalyst'!
Thumbs up just for mentioning Opeth.
God, that vibrato!!
totally sweet!
I can't wait for my ML-1 Natural Ash from RNA Music to arrive.
Great lesson... learned some new tricks! But more importantly... C'mon Rob.. Get it on and BANG THAT GONG!!! It's just sitting back there teasing us...
Slash is the king of bends. I love his way to use them.
I used to play a long to Jimi for hours on end when I was a kid, forgot all the licks I used to know after several years of DnB, trying to nail stuff like this again!
Licks that I spent way too many hours playing when I stared getting serious with guitar. Now 5 years later my bending and vibarato are considered 'trademarks' of my playing by others. And I totally agree with 'em. Vibrato is like a players fingerprint -makes one unique.
5:20 riff sounds like a mastadon riff off the crack the skye album. Nice work chappers keep it up.
hey chapers nice video :)
Thanks for the great licks, Rob! That "bend the high E up, play the B and come down" is also in Joe Walsh's outro solo part in Hotel California. Quite difficult to play cleanly (maybe just for me). I guess my action may be _too_ low...
Hi Rob did you know that there's a Mac version of diablo 3 and if i remember right both versions are on the same DVD and by the way i'm a fan of your playing! keep up the good work and always keep it funny.
Yan from Canada
8:22 bens looking at chappers like oh fuck is he going to kill me lololol
The number of times u rolled the volume knob!!!! amazes me!
Sweet licks! Is that a wedding ring? If so Congrats!
A cake made of just cream? Hmm,,, Great bending stuff/ lesson here!
Cake is but a medium for the transportation of frosting! TGV 2014
That riff is very cobainish and cool .
Saw that lesson yesterday with Tim Pierce, Marty ;-)
But cool anyway!
8:25 ish, imagine if the half of the Henry went through the ceiling give the upstairs neighbors a surprise
I want that tone!
heheh ... Opethy... :) love ghost of perdition.....!
Chappers plays some Gilmour... Fuck yeah!!
I like your playing, Rob, but I think you should improve your Gilmour-ish bendings
I have been entertained AND learned something about guitar playing. I'd say that's good. Also I'm certain all Blizzard games, including Diablo 3, run on MacOS natively :S
Haha, im sitting here myself with a the same Chapman top on xD
Eric Johnson- The king of playing in 5s.
Angus Young also uses the E up, B down thing on the intro solo to Nightprowler from the Highway to Hell album.
I would LOVE it if we were able to buy a Chapman in Sweden, Or if they were available on Thomann or something like that. That way it wouldn't cost the double to import it! ;)
Just wondering do your neighbours complain? lol! Love the bending & the Gilmour licks!
1:27 I learned something already!
MATT GEAR!
If a singer had a vibrato like that they would be committed.
you already teach this lick once ;p , but nice playing rob ;)
DO NOT buy pre built computers, build your own. For the love of the non existing god!
or buy the parts individually and have someone else put it together*
really interesting to see if one day, Chapman guitars will be just as huge as Jackson and ESP and the likes :>
Dear Monkey Lord!
I'd like to ask you to do a proper tutorial of pinch harmonics. UA-cam is full of tutorials but i love the sound of yours squiealies. Thx!
Really like the rolling technique you go into, can you give any further info on it!? also isn't it an Eric Johnson technique with triple lets and quadruplets?
GRAH I WANT TO HEAR THAT OPETH RIFF
Is that a Wilkinson Trem ??? I bought one for my Squier and couldn't believe the build quality for a ~$45 bridge, and huge improvement in tone/sustain.
6:55 THEY LIKE DRE AND EM MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!!!!
You've been watching Guitarjamz ;-)
I bought a bagless vacuum cleaner for £29.97 two and a half years ago, it works like a charm.
QOTSA FTW!!!
Do you think you could talk about your Bareknuckle loaded ML-2? The one with the Painkillers, I've been thinking of getting a pair, would love to hear your view on them.
I'm probably buying an Ml1 on May the 4th.
I'm from Canada British Columbia victoria
That riff you made was fucking tasty man, you should teach it =3
It's 1080p and you have ears, man! Learn it just by sight and ears :D
After watching the Another Brick In The Wall solo please do a Gilmour type licks mini lesson or anything on Pink Floyd
How come Chappers is wearing a wedding ring..? Is he engaged?
Rob, is that a wedding ring that is on your ring finger ?
Installing windows on mac, I like you :)
I love pink Floyd.please do more rob
More licks please:)
Could you make a Day of my Life or a Follow me around ( haha I think it's the same :D)
The first rule of Dorje:
There are no weight classes in Dorje!
nice one mate!!! how much does that guitar retail for?
I like the sound of the pick ups in your ML-1, what are they called?
yeah the wall
fuck you're good mate :)
Was that a potential ***** signature speaker cab??
Lesson reminds me of paul gilbert.
Rob,have you got those 'strongest strings ever' (was it?) on there? Seems to stay amazingly in tune.
Ta
Yo Rob, where can I buy one of the Chapman Guitars TShirts?
What guitar is that? Wonderful!
That second thing is the same thing that Jeff Loomis does.
Ben's beard is both erotic and terrifying at once.
the riff at 5:20, is that where flower of life came from?
Rob I've noticed that you rarely use a wah... why? It would be good with Hendrix licks.
Haha what i'd do to live in this household.
yeah
When can we expect the next Dorje album?
When Rob mentioned Gilmour, what riff did he play straight after? I know it's Pink Floyd, and I have heard it before, but I can't remember what it's called.
If it no to late it's the brick in the wall solo :)
im thinking by the look of your guitar and your technique that you enjoy guthrie govan
Which model of Chapman Guitar is this by chance? I've only just come across these guitars and they seem to be an incredibly versatile machine. I'll be searching here in Canada!
+Bill Watterson I think that's the ML-1 Pro, but I'm not 100%
+RyanThompsonGuitarist The ash one he's playing at the beginning is just the ML-1.
