Great discussion, I like how you pointed out strategy tips for new players… I am leaning Lyra and Yzmir myself as a control type player in my MTG history. I am really intrigued to see what new tools unveil for each faction and how interesting cards that cross over can change the strategies… I’ve read lots of discussion about how all decks are “monocolered” but with crossover cards the decks look like they can feel the factions are mixed… I can’t wait till my opponent drops some unique card on me that wipes my board😮
This was very helpful in deciding which faction to play. I was originally leaning towards Ordis due to their bureaucracy theme but gameplay wise I prefer to play the gimmicky character/faction so I'll be team Lyra!
Sounds like a great choice for you! I've been playing an Auraq and Kibble deck this past week (gameplay vid coming soon!), and that fits the bill just perfectly haha. Very hilarious when it works, though!

Is there an actual how to play video anywhere? Keep seeing podcasts and discussions, but have yet to see any actual gameplay.
there are a few videos from the print and play on youtube and some videos of people playing on a fan made online version of the P&P available
