I want one of the older ones so bad, with the flip up headlights, when I was a 5 year old kid I saw a dodge stealth and this car both in red, I thought it was the coolest shit ever, 18 years later I still think so.
@@theweslles mines also auto mate 👍 tonnes of power and lots of fun, just be wary of some of the electronics, eg the spoiler brake light and pop ups etc. That and of course the gearbox but asides from that if everything is fit and healthy..it's just awesome haha
Love my 1996 3000GT VR4, never selling it! Been stuck on this platform since the early 90s! Ran a 13.31@105mph with a conservative launch, bone stock, im still bone stock. Nice footage! 👍
5.6 to 60mph would be with a terrible launch, lol. When launcued correctly, even the 1g can do 60mph in under 5 seconds - dodge put an ad out for the 1g stealth tt that stated it was faster than a testarossa to 60mph, which it was - they clocked it to 60 in 4.89s. The 1994 and up VR4s hit 60 in well under 5 seconds even with a terrible launch. The VR4 was faster than all but the mk4 supra tt in a straight line, leaving the fd3 rx7 tt and z32 300zx tt eating shit from a dig and a roll, and from a dig the supra tt only passed at around 110mph.
One of these Euro spec Mk1 3000gt’s recently made 25k GBP at auction, this model is now VERY rare in the U.K , exact numbers left is hard to say as they will be merged with all other 3000gts on how many left but suspect only double figures, different from every other 3000gt, GTO, VR4 with all the front lights and powered main beam washers, larger turbos and front brakes as standard putting out 320 bhp stock from the factory. Also has the 4 bolt main with the forged crank. I have bet on this model still being well undervalued if you can find one in good condition unmolested, we have two of them.
And to think that I bought mine some years ago for £2000, and then 2 years later sold it for £1500. It needed a new exhaust and I wasnt prepared to pay the £500 for a new one.
haha, gotta love that 5th to 3rd gear change right at the start. that about sums up the 92 GTO. wish my 3rd gear synchros were that smooth. what a magic gear!
I had a black GTO which I loved. I'm a girl racer (geriatric vintage) and clocked up waaaaaaaay too many fines. I only sold it because I found a 76 Corvette.
Maddex Castaneda J reg in the UK would make it either a 1991 or 1992 model. However, it’s a private reg so it could be a newer model sporting an older plate but given it’s a review of when not long launched in the UK I’d go with an original 1992 model.

Man the 3000gt is beautiful looking car. I bet if it was only made in Japan, us here in North America would go nuts to get them over here.

Hi Maddex - At a guess it's going to be a UK spec 1991-1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT Twin Turbo Version.
