Hi I'm Peter from Durban, I can hear u from S.A. by yur accent. I also got 307cc with roof problem. My windows work and I've tested pump, plus relays. All ok. Now I'm stumped
@menaceridesuk Hi I now found both micro switches on drivers side boot flap are missing metal contact strips that open or close on boot flap when roof is opening. I don't know where to find these in Durban. Hoping this is the problem
My driver side window will not go up or down smoothly it goes down by pressing and letting go repeatedly (taking around 6 goes untill fully down) and will only go up when I press rapidly and window goes up in a very small bursts movement (uncountable amounts i have to press the button in a crazy fast rythm otherwise it does nothing) and i cannot re-calibrate the window (as people keep suggesting) no matter what i do i think because of the way it is struggling to go up into the closed position. So I foolishly tried to put the roof down, the boot opened but the roof didn't move meaning the boot got stuck there so i had to put the boot down manually because it would not complete the process either way so now the car just prompts me to complete roof maneuver immediately but i do not dare to touch the roof swith again until i have fixed the window problem because i feel it will just stop midway and get stuck again. I believe I may have a faulty window switch (driver side)? Or could it be the same problem you had? If so i do have a spare regulator motor but it's for the passenger side window and not the driver side i need would that matter or can i still use it? Thank you any and all help will be greatly appreciated 🙏 also after struggling to get the window all way up when i open the door it does drop like its supposed to but it drops considerably more than the other door and when i close the door it only goes back uo half as much as it dropped, i can literally just keep opening a d closing the door untill the window is all thw way down
Hi Anthony, Get yourself a drivers-side window motor/regulator and get the window reset sound like a regulator pc board issue rather then a faualty roof, start there and work through the electrical gremlins one buy one hope this helps and keep me posted, Kind Regards Mario, Menace rides uk
Buddy… Peugeot 307 cc here.. suffering with the roof recently .. was working normally until one time got faulty halfway while opening.. so i closed it but while reopening i would get mechanism error,, i could hear the motor but literally nothing happens just the windows open and sound of the motor … any clue???
@@karmlino that sounds like a micro switch issue. There should be about 7 of them throughout the car, for the roof. The easiest way would be to plug in and obd reader which can rest the mechanism fault, then run the roof to identify which switch is faulty. As an extra check make sure the cable mechanism in the boot for the hinges do not have interference.
Nice job..new subscriber here..thank you..

@@peterstephens8745 Hi Peter, yep from SA. Could you describe your process of opening the roof and where it faults? Or does it not even open?
