What a great educational experience for Masha and Monkey!!! They are so lucky.

The place looks beautiful . One thing made me laugh tho .. watching the drive back to base , gorgeous scenery beautiful French inspired theme music , then scratched with Nicks voice … “friggin hell “ !!! As you tried to navigate the narrow road 🤣🤣

Oh I`d love to be able to wander those streets, both in Eze and Valmont, so beautiful and very European (obviously lol). What a fabulous trip, and how wonderful for the girls to broaden their horizons.

I need to go back to southern France. Fell in love with that area during a college trip in 83. Spent time in Nice and absolutely had a blast. One day. One day I'll get back there.
Pleased the new place is working out, loved all the coast line and winding streets so pretty, but I’d be no good on all the steps, years ago, but now 😳, the girls are going to have so many fantastic memories loving the vlogs, always do Thankyou Nick and Leigh xx

That was a spectacular spot to visit. They were hardy folk that built the place. Imagine lugging all the building materials up those hills.
Loving seeing rural France, I do love the USA but when I saw you wandering through cobbled streets and eating at restaurants with their tables outside all my memories from European holidays came flooding back - makes me want to book a trip somewhere more "local" ;) only thing is going to the states I've come to expect certain standards with our accommodation which I know I would have to temper if I went back to Europe (or it would cost a fortune!) Not sure I'd have made it up that hill though!! You've definitely given us food for thought ... that is after our Orlando trip in 2 weeks and our Vegas holiday next April hahaha

Great Vlog south of France was my first trip abroad canoeing down the Ardeche and bivouac on its banks.. with no light pollution the sky and shooting stars were out of this world ❤

Love the videos. Thanks. Nick, have you ever thought you could be lactose intolerant. Can happen fairly suddenly. Happened to me. Same symptoms. Now have Lactose free milk (been so much better) and limited milk products and or take tablets if "I need" ice cream 😂 xx
You definitely need Avon skin so soft. The mozzies love me and hardly get any now. Plus it is a moisturiser ❤ loving you French blogs. I used to work on the liners and we docked in the bay of Ville France and tendered in ❤

Hiya guys, great vlog..and love little french streets and beautiful little town. Are you enjoying the wine and cheese. Those bites look very sore. Must be bad over there for mosquitos . I used to buy mosquito bands and wipes and cream especially when going to mexico.thanks for sharing your trip x

Beautiful village, if you think that reminds you of game of thrones, then you need to visit Dubrovnik where kings landing is set..stunning full of little streets with hidden gems round each corner

It wouldn’t of occurred to me that mosquitoes would be such a problem in France, but I guess they’re a problem everywhere. Some really spectacular views in Èze, though I’m not sure my knees would have held up going up and down hills so much.

You are literally walking in the footsteps of a trip we did last year…. Valbonne and Eze and you even ate in the same restaurant in Eze 😮. Unfortunately you will already be back by the time you read this, but if you didn’t do it this trip….. ideas for next trip are Gorge du Verdon it is absolutely gorgeous and has great activities for kids, also Ile St Marguerite is a lovely boat trip from either Cannes or Mandelieu with great views back to Cannes. Take a pack lunch and have a swim and wander around the island. Mandelieu La Napoule is also a lovely area and a great little protected sandy beach and it has a big free carpark close by. Mandelieu also has a great Asian grocery store, if you are cooking at home and craving some spicy dishes 😉. If you have the kids along then a lake near Fayence (Lake St Cassien) has a fabulous water inflatable park which they would love. Happy travels 😊. P.S. Am loving watching you convert the van, I would love it but hubby is a definite no 😂

I used Avon Skin so Soft this year and didn't get one bite. It's a spray oil and the mosquitos don't like it.
We used it every day in France too. Not sure if it worked or not. We still got bit but maybe it kept a few at bay 🤔

Great tip re French pronunciation. Never say the last letter of the word. I.e. Cannes is pronounced Canne (Can), Eze is Ez, Paris is Pari (Paree).
Beautiful place though. We did it as a day trip on a cruise when we stopped in Villefranche Sur Mer.

Very enjoyable vlog. I would love to go to the south of France ever since I heard Louis Jordan say he would drive every year from Paris to Nice stopping at all the small villages on the way. I almost ran into him at the Areboretum where they filmed Tarzan and Fantasy Island. Was he ever a handsome guy. Loved him in Gigi.
