    As mathematician, visualization in chess isn't obvious, at least for me. I confess, I've learned a lot from this video. Thank you so much.

    Fantastic video! Clear, concise and to the point. I can't wait to go through your list of videos and discover other gems like this one. As a mediocre "adult improver" having returned to the game late in life, this will now be a regular part of my chess-related activities which after many false starts now center around drilling tactics, analyzing my games and going through illustrative Master games relevant to my small opening repertoire. Thank you so much and I wish you continued success with your channel.

    I've never come across a more instructional chess video before! I've watched many over the years, but never anything about the geometry of chess. After watching with a sense of awe and amazement, stunned by the precision of the calculations, I immediately liked and subscribed. If I watch more of these types of videos my game will rapidly improve.

    Ok so to summarize: try to place your pawns in the middle square, if not the pawns then pieces; the bigger square indicates which direction you should be attacking based on where your pawns are pointing; and the red line tells you you should try and kick out your opponent's pieces or pawns once they cross into your territory.

      @@Jozarovschesschannel Just wanted to say you have the best lessons on UA-cam. After watching four of your videos I played a game where I locked in my opponent's bishop then sacked an exchange (knight for a rook, pawn, and center control) before playing on the side my pawns were facing and I had more space. These are all ideas taught in your videos. Keep up the great work and I'll be sure to keep watching.

2. Was ist das mathematische daran? 3.

  • @ujjwalkumar1501
    @ujjwalkumar1501 3 роки тому +2

    Sir, a little doubt why not B2 at 27:10 as then you could have got your queen in your very next move only, there would have no place for your opponent rook to come back to 1st rank and the other pieces of opponent could also not save B1 from queening.

    Great and instructive Video! In all the years I‘ve benn playing chess so far, no one ever taught me this principles. You always talked about the pawnstructure in the center. Does that mean, that the structure of the pawns outside the center is not so important?

    • @Jozarovschesschannel
      @Jozarovschesschannel  5 років тому +2

      It is important, you saw in the third example that I didn't go in the common flank attack, but because of the pawn structure in the big square I realized that my opponent has left too much space in the center
