This song made me realize that it’s the final of book 1. We finished all those stages, now that we finished it, our family and ancestors can finally rest and live happily. Our ancestors looking down at us, smiling, proud at us, and set free. He, Kusunoki Masashige, was proud of us. He’s probably happy with Hirosa now. The fact that Kintoru tried deceiving us in the end but remembered Kusunoki’s words, “she’ll try to trick you in the end” and we just killed her immediately is just brave and trusting your own great grandfather more than a beast.
This song was perfect for the ending of Book I, anyone who has played it and genuinely enjoyed this wonderful game will instantly recognize this beautiful piece.
This song will never be an oldies. This is a beautiful closed ending song for book 1 although book 2 is here. Really bring back memories when hiding in the cupboard waiting to slain those hearts.
Ah this ending song gives me waves of nostalgia. We went from being hunted by Hiachi in a strange wooden maze to finally ending the Witch/Control/Kintoru, to trying to find our brother in book 2, to entering and leaving hell in book 2, and almost Yokai alongside the conclusion of Jealousy’s Book. I love Mimic the way it is right now though it has flaws--but old Mimic is nostalgic.
I've always cried that sama has died I felt pity for her it's just that...it's so beautiful. And seeing sama as a beautiful woman seeing her so nice to hiachi at first, staring at her hand at the ending of book one,proudly watching her being evil even though she cursed everyone else and killing them..
i'm going to be honest, i felt absolutely no guilt killing Sama. yes, she is pretty, but OH MY, THE RAGE I HAD FOR HER. this song makes me feel so relaxed yet so "sad" somehow, it feels like i can relate this to a lot of memories in my life, i guess it's just because it sounds peaceful and sad at the same time.
sama backstory got me feeling like sussy depress but when sama started to kill me 80 times in the last chapter with her deformed spider thing made me choose to kill her lol
@Amber her only backstory is that she was created as a world eater and never was once human. She simply killed people and controlled them until one day Kunoski sealed the 4 beasts. A bit of samas power was taken away and she took his daughter. He sacrificed himself for his daughter but sama tricked him and then cursed his daughter and him. Then after a while hiachi freed the rest of samas power so she cursed the bloodline. yasu was simply one of the people in his bloodline thats why the player (yasu) goes through all of this
God, this makes me remember when I passed chapter 4 with great difficulty and prayed for book 2 to come out as quickly as possible, when I cursed sama and my teammates because they left in the middle of the game XD, it was very good that year with the mimic, seeing how they update and how they put more chapters...
