They look so similiar to one another and sound so similiar to one another, they could almost be real mother and daugther even thou their not but the resemblence is sooo much alike each other its uncanny😱😱😱😮😮

@@Rosannasfriend they have different tones of their voices but there are sooo many similiarities between the 2 of them in my opinion.

I think the fact that Shelby didn't think she could be a mother to Rachel after 16 years is actually realistic.
As an adoptee who spoke to her biological mother for the first time at 18, I actually kind of related to how they handled Rachel and Shelby’s relationship. It definitely wasn’t handled perfectly, but it was somewhat realistic if you’ve been in a similar situation.

I really liked the juxtaposition of Idina singing the more raw angry hurt version vs Lea singing more like the devastated teary fragile version…it just worked so well especially with the dynamic between the characters ❤
This was absolutely beautifully done. These two look just like mother and daughter. The vocal differences brought together was brilliance by Ryan Murphy. I also love that Idina sang in the movie Rent and Rachel sang the same part in glee with Amber. You already posted that one. I would love you to do a video of those two scenes as a comparison.

These two killed this! I can’t listen to it sung without their harmonies! I love both their voices but Indina’s voice just takes everything up a notch. She hits the high notes but what sets her apart are those beautiful low notes. Not to many singers can actually sing down in a lower register.

I feel Lea has a “glee” style and then a “non-glee” style…. I remember her singing this song differently when she performed the role of Eponine in the Hollywood Bowl production she did years ago…
You probably mean "On My Own". This song, "I Dreamed a Dream", is not sung by Eponine, but by Fantine.

I think she also sings in character kind of while Indina didn't have a developed sound for her character
i definitely recommend reacting to candyman or dream on from glee. both of these songs are very good and the high notes in them are amazing and will probably blow you away.

Lea should be the voice of Elsa's daughter
I LOVE FROZEN, primarily because my eldest first cousin’s 14-YEAR-OLD daughter is named Elsa (she was 4 when the movie came out)! I only came to know Idina when she voiced Elsa, so I didn't know who she was during the time that Glee was on.
This duet is stunning. Unpopular opinion; Lea Michele is a better vocalist than Idina Menzel. Her voice is blatantly healthier, for one.
It is an objective fact many people are just not ready to admit it yet.
I wish I could agree but Idina has a more mature voice. Lea is too squeaky. They both are great but it is a subjective choice. Can’t go wrong either way though.
Idina is a great singer but she’s not known for her technical proficiency. Only a biased fan girls will have a tough time admitting that.
@@LVLexus Mature but not as technology skilled. Lea also puts on her squeak for Rachel, she rarely ever does it as much outside of Glee.
@@danielblair9535 That's not true. She used to do it outside of Glee too, but her breath control is definitely much better than it used to be.

Hi, great videos 🙂 Did you react to the episode they did after Cory died? Lea sang "make me feel my love", and Naya sang "If I die young" both incredible and sad.
Oh god, I read that most of that episode only had a few takes for each scene as it was so soon after Cory’s death & there was virtually no acting, that was all raw grief of the cast. And when we waited for three quarters of the episode for Rachel to come in….when she did she looked so tiny & fragile & I absolutely lost it that she managed to get through “make you feel my love” so beautifully. It still hurts so much to watch because I watched all of it with my fiancé and we cried most of the way through….then in 2015, my fiancé, Peter, who was only 36 passed away suddenly. We used to drive around in the car together & sing Glee songs, & his (untrained) voice sounded so similar to Cory’s, I used to always say “sing in your Cory voice” 😍 So now that episode carries a hell of a lot of meaning and heartbreak for me 😰💔💔💔
