- Do you want to speed up your slow stitching? I know it sounds contradictory but slow stitching doesn't mean that you have to stitch as slow as possible. In the old days in Japan, especially in cold regions, stitching fast was important for everybody's wellbeing. Even if you can stitch fast, you'll still be slower than a sewing machine so you can still call it slow stitching! If you enjoy the stitching and the mending, you want to use the right tools and the right technique. I'm stitching through 2 layers (denim and Japanese fabric) so I can't stitch that fast but it doesn't cost me much time and effort. It means more time for other projects. Do you live in the Netherlands and do you want to learn this technique? Send me a message or find me here: japanesecraftc...
The point of slow stitching is to not do it fast
😂 that's what I was thinking
I come here to say the same.
Very addicting stitching Sashiko... love the camera shots showing the steps. Great job!
Thank you so much! I'm happy you like it😊🙏
More than anything I want to know how to start and end your thread so it doesn’t come loose but you don’t see a knot.
Ничего нового. 🙄
