VERY UNDERATED TOPIC... IM INTO ALL THEORIES.... MISSING 411 MAYBE THE MOST IMPORTANT... EVEN MORE THAN FLAT EARTH .... THIS ONE COULD COST YOU YOUR LIFE ....
I’m 70 years old, when I was in my late twenties to late thirties I’d backpack alone often. National parks, forests and never had a single negative experience running into other persons in wilderness locations. Nevertheless I always was armed with a handgun when on my trips. But, even armed, I would not camp, backpack, etc. nowadays alone. No way Jose. It’s a different world we’re living in today.
46:43 so if something takes place like a crime or missing person that involve a location, that location should should be left alone forever until the case is solved? Like a hundred years later they couldn’t burn it down because the case hasn’t been solved and there might have been some “overlooked evidence?”
@joeroganreviewexperience9964 the places most of these people go missing, there are a multitude of reasons as to why their bodies aren't found. I hike a lot in Washington state. It is extremely easy to get lost and often times people get exhausted and stop thinking clearly, so they aren't near the location being searched. If you were to fall off a cliff, slide into a crevasse, get washed into the current, etc....Your body may never be found. It's really not that mysterious.
@isaiahjohnson9857 LOL Thank you for telling me how I think. I appreciate your input. There are definitely other reasons people go missing. We have a SK here who has killed at least 3 women hiking in Mt. Rainier. I'm sure others believe UFOs, Big Foot, etc...and I don't knock that. However, 80% of these, at least are people simply getting lost/exhausted/elevation sickness/not prepared whatever. There's been conspiracy theories about people who were missing for 20 years and later found at the bottom of waterfalls stuck under rocks and just happened to finally dislodge.
30 years or so ago I would go on long hiking/fishing trips by myself. I had no fear, even wading 5 ft deep creeks near dark. No way would I do that now.
Just going to go out on a limb here, but THE PICTURES OF MISSING CHILDREN NOT BE BLURRED OUT! How is anyone going to ID them if they see them? Quit trying to "Cover your ass" and put unblurred photos of missing children in your videos. Blurred photos help NOBODY, and can only harm the missing children, if still alive, by making them impossible to identify.
The guy who contacted his wife that he had set up camp is negligence on the police departments part. There is no way they couldnt triangulate that phone when tht message was sent.
I don’t understand on some of these the people that have disappeared. Their eyes or face is obscured if we want to look for them why is their face secured? I can’t know what they look like if I can’t see their whole face.
why did u blur out Jared Negrete's eyes and the last image he took? You didn't even mention the fact that someone's eye can be seen behind him and you can't see it because you blurred out the area. That's part of what makes it super creepy and a "Missing 411"
I often think of an eery story Dave told in an interview. After a speech he gave a couple search and rescue people approached him. They adamantly emplored to him that this phenomenon is worse than people know. One of them was an native american and he grabbed Dave's arm was choked up as he was saying "I'm a tracker, It has been my entire life. I can find anyone, even the best of the best of people that DONT want to be found!! These people obviously desperately do!" Very profound!!!!
Some of these searches last for days,if not weeks.A dead body will start to smell within 48 hrs. That alone,as well as scavenger birds circling, should lead to dead bodies. If the person were alive they would hear the searchers and yell out.
Oh cool i never really appreciated the purposes of logbooks! I always just thought it was to hikers like graffiti or fame / notoriety I never thought of it as backup details
I’m not being judge mental but what kind of person goes hiking/camping alone for two whole weeks in a remote area, deep in the woods? I mean, have they NEVER misstepped and twisted or broke a bone? Have they NEVER fell? NEVER been lost? Have these kinds of people NEvER had a mishap, an accident, anything that would give most people some precautionary preparations?
Some people don't care and other are niave to the risk or just think it won't happen to them. I go solo camping remotely but I take fairly stringent precautions like bringing an emergency locator beacon, which cost fk all these days..
The first one I know he was a big hiker but he was 75. I'm from UK but have been to big sur. He could have easily fell in the water and sadly he's body won't be found. But many of the others are very strange
this day and age why dont the parks require that hikers must drop off there driver license in exchange for a tracker key incase some one gets lost make it a lot easier to find missing people, you get your driver license back once every one in ur hiking party gives back the tracking chip..parks could also put out tracking towers all over the parks with miles of range another way to track with the chips...easy peasy
They found Jessie's pants in a tree with rocks tied up in one of the legs. His family thinks it was a gang called "the Coyotes" & they must've put the pants in the tree since it wasn't a great 'hiding tree so it couldn't have been him. Dude, he *said* he was in a friggin tree lol Sounds to me like he WAS in that tree, and HE put the rocks in his pants leg & was swinging it around to fight off some imaginary coyotes. He was probably on meth or bath salts... or some shit. Families never wanna face the obvious. Like, I know it it sucks but cmon.
or...and bear with me here....there was actually a pack of very hungry or otherwise motivated Coyotes after him. i've lived in Montana for forty years. i've seen with my own eyes a single female Coyote defending her den full of pups.....and had a grown man and his teenage son "treed" up on the hood of their tractor that had gotten too close to her den. she was deadly serious about taking a piece out of one of them, or die trying! she was running circles around the tractor, barking and snarling, jumping up at them and snapping her teeth. i had to drive out into the field in my truck to run her off so they could get off the tractor.
@@missprimrose4132 The way I look at the gun laws from State to State is as long as we don’t have any issues, nobody knows I have a gun on me, but should a situation arise where I feel threatened and need protection, or possibly need to protect someone else then I am prepared. I would rather have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have it.
People that old such not do hikes on their own, which seems logical right? but also strange that the guy walked away without the girl and she happened to go missing. That is a little suspish. You do not disappear just by lack or preparing in fact he was bad prepared too and he made it so... that didn't matter apperiantly. The fact that there is no evidence of murder doesn't mean it didn't happen. The same for the other (older)r woman in this video.
