Many of the other models Victorinox offer seem like little more than generic watches with just the logo slapped on, but the I.N.O.X. line is something utterly unique! One day I will have to get one I guess.
I'm a bit of a watch junkie as well and this IMHO is the nicest piece I've put on for under a grand. I stick to quartz and solar tough and much cheaper to maintain. Many of the high end automatics are like a italian or british car - in the shop a lot and expensive to maintain.
i agree this is a very well made watch and will last a lifetime with battery changes. But, ive owned 200 or so watches from rolex to microbrands and honestly, a service every 10 years which is around $1000+ will maintain the watch just fine - but if you add that to the value , yeah I get it, you lose money in the end.
Great Watch, great Review, Dude! Very nice, to listen to you.
Totally agree about the crown I have the dive master 500 43mm its gotta be the smoothest screw down watch I own and It’s one of the cheapest I think I paid $140 maybe? I have 2 marine masters and a bunch of other high end Seiko’s and even those are not anywhere near that smooth. another thing I noticed at least with my model is the partially lumed bezel and indices glow just as bright and just as long as the Lume king of my collection the seiko Tuna another fantastic feature is the quality of the rubber strap it’s thick soft and pliable construction is one of the best I’ve ever seen or handled on any Price watch. This brand is hands down one of the best value for money Swiss made watches you can get no surprise it’s becoming more popular!
In the video you said that this is the blue dial version.....looks like black to me?!?
Other than that - Great review!
I just bought one these last week and for the reasons stated. It’s go anywhere, do anything watch that is a quality solid build. Very comfortable and I have a small to medium wrist.
Totally agree
Victorinox and even Wenger are so underrated. Idt people realize they are legit Swiss Made as they are both Swiss companies, high quality watches at an affordable price.
yep they have their own factories in Switzerland highly underrated
lol @ Wenger, why would you mention Victorinox and Wenger in the same breath?
@@madeiracake1537 i think victorinox owns wenger
Just go and buy some moon pace Patek Phillip or audemars piguet
Hello friend. Please tell me the crown rests strongly in the hand? Thanks
Great review.. Thanks! I just ordered it.. very good deal! I was worried about the size but now I'm pretty sure it won't look that huge on my 7'' wrist. BTW, I read that the plastic case is to avoid light reflects.
Thanks buddy! Indeed! Great watch will last you a lifetime
@@WatchAddictionReviews hey man! What is the exact measurement of your wrist? Watch looks good on you even if you say its a big watch!
is this the same model the pro diver blue dial in ur other video ?
the fit looks slightly different here
what us the lug to lug measurement on this watch ?
My jeweler put me on to this watch I never heard of it but I bought one and it's my daily wearer now .
nice, they are rock solid - the automatico is even nicer
Oddly enough this watch gets way more attention on my wrist than my Omega Seamaster. I believe they should raise the MSRP to $1,000 at bare minimum. Definitely a steal for the price.
Great Vid... BTW - the indices are not applied. They are actually "pressed" as part of the dial. Just another testament to the durability of this design. The indices can't come unglued if they are actually part of the same alloy as the dial. Victorinox is the most under-rated Swiss Brand among the UA-cam "experts"! Cheers
yeah they make quality watches
I have this exact model but in Blue dial..great great watch..strong build
yep
Really nice , very nice and nice and nicely - lmao. Great solid watch bit annoying that the seconds dont line up on a swiss watch at that price point. But looks a solid watch.
yeah its solid
Seconds hand don’t line up with line marks when operating.
I noticed that too. Such a beautiful watch and they can't fix that. My Citizen Nighthawk does that too...annoying.
Does the anti magnetic feature really work in this model. I have the same watch and it stops when I place a small magnet on it. Any reason why.
maybe you have the standard inox
Hey. thanks for the review.say brother.is the bezel badly scratched?
I've had mine for 2 years and never use the "bumper". I don't baby it in any way. I treat it like a G-Shock. So far I only have on small scratch, and that's on one of the strap lugs. It took 3 months for the cuts and bruises on my wrist to heal. I'm really not sure how Victorinox does it. The case, back and bezel are 316L Surgical Stainless Steel, just like any other quality diver. I can only assume that Victorinox has an advantage in scratch resistance since it has been making some of the best Stainless Steel for 135 years. The company name is even a nod to the Mother's name Victoria in combination with the metallurgic name for Stainless Steel - "Inox" Steel.
have this watch for 4 years now.. overall it's quite solid.. however the lume is below what seiko does.. also the bezel seems to be an after thought.. it doesnt feel solid in comparison to the rest of the watch (it wiggle a bit). nonetheless I do take it for swimming or snorkeling without worrying too much
also regarding the military time on the dial (14 15 16...) you cant really see it :)
Seeming regardless pricing level, the quartz watches are usually ecountering mis-alignment issue between Sencond hand and dial marks.
doesnt really bother me
do i need to worry about clones? like if , i bought from amazot? ps ; nice vid , good review. thanks, pss why does the second hand never hardly hit on the actuall littel markers? it seems to hit between ecah spot where it should be on the marker? but it obviously does not?
no, you can find these on amazon for much cheaper - and they are real
Many quartz watches dont hit the markers, some do.
Nice watch but the second hand ticks don’t line up with the second hash marks. That’s annoying. They should have made it an automatic movement.
your right , most quartz watches dont line up it sucks if your obcessive about that - They did make an automatic inox - in fact i will be reviewing it this week!
Watch Addiction Watch Reviews , excellent! They could have a real winner on their hands.
for sure, stay tuned!
Watch Addiction Watch Reviews The second hand of most quartz watches do not line up with the hash marks, but one of the things I really like about this watch is that they do - at least on my copy. Very happy with it.
You're kidding right? Quartz movements are far superior to automatics, especially for a workhorse ISO-6425 Pro Level Diver. You gotta be clinically OCD to care about whether the second hand hits the indices. I bought my Black I.N.O.X. Quartz Nov 2017, from the Victorinox website sale; for $255.95! This is a working man's watch. Doesn't matter if you dive salvage, pour cement, or wrench on 18 wheelers. This watch is the toughest on the market. It's also more accurate than any auto under $10,000.00. I've worn the Automatic version of this watch for a week and the accuracy is crap in comparison to the Quartz version. My watchmaker stated that in his opinion, the Swiss Ronda 715 Quartz driven version is easily 25 times more durable than the Rolex Submariner and it's automatic contemporaries.
I love my victorinox its right up there with my Rolex and my Panerai.
i wouldnt say that but they are good for the $$
good video friend, how much should I pay for a USED black, rubber strap and full set?
$200?
Hi man is this automatic ? Or need battery ?
Thank you 🙏🏻
This is the Quartz model and runs on Battery - They have an automatic model but it is more $$$
What is the watch you are wearing.please tell
sitesh umar Rolex Submariner 114060
I just ordered this. Was the bracelet easy to adjust? Have you tried Seiko SUN019...if yes how is the size of INOX compared to it?
yes the bracelet is very easy to size , i have never kwned sun019
@@WatchAddictionReviews Thanks replying :)
How’d you like it Tomsterr? I just order the SS bracelet one myself. Going to be my second VSA watch 👍
@@manuelsantellan8808 I actually sent it back. The watch was nice but I just changed my mind and ordered Seiko SUN019. I like big heavy watches.
Is it worth buying this inox?can this watch fit in small size wrist ?
matters how small its not a small watch its actually large
i enjoyed the review. but the second hand is misaligned and thats a big no from me.
obrigado meu amigo , sometimes it is like that 💁🏻♂️
Unacceptable at this price. Even cheap Casios are far better in quality in this regard.
Enjoyed the review however how can a firefighter wear a steel watch in the burning building surely this watch would be so hot it would burn him?!?!?
Im not sure , i mean if a firefighter is inside a fire pretty sure hed burn and die right, they are close but not inside a literal fire
They really should do an ETA automatic version of this even if it puts it at the $1000 $ point.
im going to get one in blue and put it on a strap code angus or super J bracelet
nicee
I have this watch and the regular Inox watch both blue faces, I bought the regular one first and loved it so I bought the divers watch too!! Both stainless steel bracelet !! Great watch for the money, in my opinion, you can't beat it for the price no matter what kind or brand watch you buy !!! they Don't use the automatic movement I think because they wanted it to be tough !!
yeah they are great built tough tested watches, but actually they released an Automatic INOX at Baselworld and will be available for sale in October 💪🏻
Thanks for the update !
If I’m not mistaken, the upcoming INOX with automatic mov’t. is not a diver. Just a regular INOX.
@@josephianz_24 Yes just the regular one
Hi, i have a 7" wrist and am worried it might be too big for me. Also is the weight very noticible ?
The dial looks black not blue?
its blue
Its nice..but all my seikos beat that lume on this
Suits an elite soldier
indeed 💪🏻💪🏻
I don't understand for what all companies make so big watches...the majority have not so big wrist.
We don't buy because is big :/
its not that big
@@WatchAddictionReviews We don't know how big, because lug to lug wasn't included.
You are he only reviewer who I've seen that guessed that one of the functions go the "bumper" is to keep the bezel from being accidentally turned! Great thinking!
im special 😛
I have one of this with rubber bracelet. Its so heavy 😅
yeah it really is sold mine after the video
I see the Second hand is not hitting the markers !!!......Drives me insane !!!!!
hahhahahaha
Not a bad looking watch, but I am suspect of any watch that can't line up the seconds hand. Poor quality control. And your comment on most quartz watches don't line up is wrong.
👀
@@WatchAddictionReviews He's right tho'. All of my quartz watches line up. Heck, even my Casio line up.
All my Citizens, Alba, and even my Reginald Sub homage quartz line up.
it might be a defect because my victorinox doesnt have that issue, its spot on.
My Hamilton khaki came in the same box haha weird
thats not right lol
Watch Addiction Watch Reviews ha I’m serious, the outer box with the “door” that falls forward and the lower shelf housing the manuals and such. Literally identical box.
it should be solar
hmm
Looks like fake😂 the second hand is not aligned on the minutes bar😅
Scott Troy certainly not fake i got it from the victorinox official website lol
I've never seen one of these watches where the second hand aligns with the minutes bar.....sad.
LOL
My divers watch actually lines up !! but my regular Inox doesnt
The rubber band does no justice to the watch the stainless steel band is much better
the rubber band is kinda nice i think
