    I love these watches. If they were not so ridiculously big, I would already own one.

    As a tool watch, this ISO 6425 Certified Diver is the best for the money. Bought mine (same color/model) on Black Friday 2017 from Victorinox US direct for $375.00. It is the most accurate watch I own; beating Japanese and Swiss, Autos and Quartz movements. Everything about this watch is about TOUGH. The indices are actually stamped as part of the dial face. The lack of glue makes sure you'll never have a loose indices floating around the under the triple coated Sapphire crystal. After 18 months of regular rotation, and usually my choice for hard work, it has a couple of small scratches in the case. It has taken impacts that would destroy a Rolex or Monster. It is also the watch I get the most compliments on. It is a badass and looks like the quality that it is.

    I just purchased the regular one today not knowing the dive version was bigger. I love the watch but being a big dude I want the larger one. I’ll be exchanging it for this one tomorrow..

    Have to agree with the date is in an awkward position, I usually take no notice of dates on my Swiss watches which is why I use my phone or digital solar tough Casio. But I love the watch, Further response to some comments it has a Ronda 715 movement, very reliable and proven. As for the guy who said they should stick to making knives obviously knows nothing about watches.

      I have five watches from the Victorinox Group (this exact model is my favorite). They commonly put dates at 4:30 or 6:00. You get used to it. Obviously I like the product... I also love how some great models are very inexpensive on the used market. I was not happy to see that these I.N.O.X. are now available with ETA 2428-2 movements. No way would I buy that. A good auto movement the 2428 is, but not for a watch like this.

    Spoke with Victorinox and this model has been discontinued. So sad, it’s a beautiful watch.

      I just ordered this same one and is arriving next week. Although I paid a nice gray market price (much cheaper than this guy on the video), I’m worried I won’t like it because of its size and it’s too late to cancel the order (I tried). I preferred the Titanium version but was too expensive. Well I guess I’ll have to try it on before I make a decision.

    Firstly thank you for a great review, I love the watch so I've just bought one and can't wait for it. Secondly I would like to respond to some comments that I have read on your video starting with the person who has trouble reading Victorinox and drags it out, they must be illiterate. Then we have the viewer who says it looks like a 90s Tag. It does a bit and Tags were better then compared to the overpriced garbage they serve up now. Yes it does have better lume than previously. I love the 45mm size as I think 43 is borderline old man or boy size, and quartz is tougher, more reliable, easier to service and more practical than an automatic, by the way you can get this in an automatic anyway. Thanks again.

    Best watch under $400 (PERIOD) I got this same watch for my birthday.
    The Pros: I love the applied indices, applied Victorinox logo, signed/logo crown, and sapphire crystal. I like the bezel... could it be easier to grip? Yes. But I never use watch bezels... I just fiddle with them when bored. The "diver cover thingy" is cool and unique... useful... yet to be seen. Also, this watch is anti-magnetic; this is great for an EDC watch (albeit quartz). The hands are fantastic and well machined.
    The Cons: It's too big; I wish they kept it the original size. The back of the case could have been engraved (but I'll just have my name engraved into the back. I wish the date window was actually between the 3 and 4 o'clock; between the 4 and 5 o'clock position is too much of an angle for me. I like the quality of the rubber/bracelet, but wish it tapered to the clasp. And finally, the clasp seems a little thin and seems out of place for a tough watch.

      SquidRides is the normal Inox also antimagnetic?

    • @MacPro8CoreMan
      @MacPro8CoreMan 5 років тому +1

      @@17industries42 - It's not on the dial but I am told by a friend who sells them that there is no reason that the non-diver would not be. He wears a non-diver and works on guitar amps and cabinets with big time speaker magnets and has had no issues at all.

    It’s said ‘Victori n ox’ - the ‘Victoria’ in the name is a shortened version of the mother of the owner. Tgv on urban gentry is one of the few people who says the name properly. Good video though

    • @msm9430
      @msm9430 2 роки тому

      @Nunya .Bidness So it's not really that crazy looking on a small wrist. I'm at about 6.5 in. wrist size and on casual days it looks alright. Will look off if you're dressed in tailored clothes/suit which I am during a great part of the week. I keep the 38/39mm mid to high tier luxury watches for such occasions. At this price point it's not all that shabby of you can somehow pull it off on certain occasions.

      The lume on my INOX Diver has a nice initial brightness and around 8 hours of afterglow. In order to be certified ISO 6425 for diver the lume has to be much better than average. I believe they use 12 layers of Swiss SuperLuminova C3. More than what is needed. It is not some freak show micro brand with 20-25 layers applied. That is just for show and defeats the intended purpose.

    sorry guys but what acually makes this watch a tank!!!
    have any one opened it to check the movement inside? is thereany special new shock absorbing system for the movement?
    i think it does not differ than the victorinox dive master 500 with swiss quartz movemnt.
    it is also made of the normal stainless steel 316 like most swiss watches.
    the steel is not hardened by any means.
    so at last why you see it as a tank?
    go to any victorinox retailer and ask the sales man that you want to step on the watch to check its durability as victorinox annouced and he will tell you nooooo.
    he can not guatantee anything from what was advertized on the inox tests.

    • @watchreport
      @watchreport  7 років тому

      Amr Ashraf don't think I ever describe it as a tank. I actually mention that I think most of their claims are marketing. It still is a nice watch though.

    • @xx0vera0xx
      @xx0vera0xx 6 років тому +1

      The case is very resilient, it was tested in washing machines, drops of 10 meters on hard surface, even run over by a tank and still worked.

      Why don't you buy one and do some torture tests with it for a UA-cam video so we can all see?

    • @MacPro8CoreMan
      @MacPro8CoreMan 5 років тому +2

      Amr Ashraf - I bought this same model Nov 2017 and I would not hesitate to allow you to stand on it. Hell, run over it with your car. Victorinox and I agree that the I.N.O.X. watches are the toughest and most tested wrist watches ever produced. Sure it's made of 316L Stainless Steel, but think of it this way... Which would you rather get into a bad car wreck in, Dodge Challenger or Volvo S80? Both are made of the same steel. But the difference is in the design. The Dodge is a death trap rated by the NTSB as one of the the 10 worst cars to get into a collision. Using the same testing, the Volvo is in the top 10 safest cars ever produced. It's all about the design. The I.N.O.X. watches use a relatively small and durable Quartz movement, the case was designed around the Ronda 715 and every microgram of 316L is there to protect the movement and the crystal.
