what some don't understand it´s the musical background that gura seems to have. She doesn't just repeat and entonate her voice note for note like an AI would. In most of her covers she always spices up some melodies with her own interpretation and improv, i really love that about her covers

You may appreciates imperfections, but an aeronautics engineer appreciates fine calculations and humanity's ability to create tools that bring imagination to life. Some of our most advanced technology actually imitates nature, and we're marvelous for being able to do that. Imitation is also an expression of artistic prowess.
All of our original art isn't original either, it's a culmination of many things we've learned and experienced brought together. A person isn't born with art or the drive to create. We have to learn everything, from smiling, to eating, to not emptying our bladders as soon as they're full, and so much more. It does a disservice to our abilities to pretend we're more than we are, and to say that what we are isn't amazing.

Gura needs to release more songs man. I thought she'll been one of those Holo girls that releases a lot of MVs. Her voice is so good, they should utilize it more.
She's a perfectionist, so she refuses to release songs unless they're perfect by her standards. It's why it took her a month to officially release Blue Horizon after showing it on stream. It wasn't good enough so she made some last minute touches on it.
She did sing a new song during the Connect The World concert, though, and it sounds really good! Expect that to come out when she's done with the MV

Not a knock on VTubing, just not where I would expect to look for this kind of voice since it’s mostly a streaming/gaming/comedy industry. It’s like someone plucked a singer off one of those talent shows and sent them straight to Cover Corp lmao.
