We visited this lovely cemetery on a beautiful sunny day and although it is one of London's Magnificent Seven cemeteries and we know hundreds of thousands are buried one on top of another in a macabre space-saving technique, it did not feel as crowded as the other six in London. I have left the original background noises as it also did not sound as though we were in the middle of a bustling Tower Hamlets. This cemetery is a true gem. I discovered it in July 2013 as I lived locally and I often walked through it, admiring its amazing monuments. Definitely one of the most beautiful cemeteries that I have ever had the pleasure to visit.

I reckon burials in the future will be a thing of the past, just not enough space, it will just be cremations.
