I absolutely recommend this series to all LGBTQ+ ppl. I feel from the first moment Carmen gets out of V.I.L.E.'s fortress into the real world, and meets with Jules, she is the first person Carmen trusts with no question. Yet, it is Julia (in my eyes) who is clearly smitten from the first. And does not relinquish from her infatuation to Carmen. It is soooo tangible and palpable, and Carmen does get protective in the end. I totally agree on the last season, but for me, the teasing begins already in season 1. It is sooo plain Jules is into Carmen. From. The. Start. Yet Carmen seems to explore her sexuality as there is some friendly itsy-bitsy with Crackle. On the other hand it looks their relationship is only friendly and platonic. But the ship Carmen-Jules is unmistakable. Although Jules gets along with her job partner, Chase Devineaux, it is plain to see that even if he fathomed slipping in the role of a guy wanting to show off in order to impress his younger colleague, he understands quickly that Julia's interest is not in him, conflict of interest here or there, he never stood a chance. Because more than archeology and old scripts, Julia loves riddles - and Carmen is the biggest of them. And who could resist this red caped, infamous, bighearted and larger-than-life heart thief? I couldn't ;o)
