Does anyone else wish there was a video game like this? Where you're stranded or exploring a very cold region like the Arctic in a small van like this? It's just so cozy and cool! Imagine being able to customize your van while trekking out in the wild like this!? I would toss my wallet for a game like that.
YES! Closest I got to the experience was The Long Dark, but that wasn't quite it. Awesome game, but like you say, I love the sense of dynamic sheltering. Stranded Deep and Green Hell were OK too. Man, I would liveca game like this video.

Thanks, sadly there is very little interest when I post the tent camping videos, unless it is a snowstorm. Maybe too many people making those videos now
In case anyone else is interested ... I looked up why there is fur around a parka hat when snow seems to get caught in it (I live in a desert, I have no idea lol). This is what I found: The large diameter and disparate hair lengths of a fur ruff interfere with gusts of wind, creating a calmer, warmer environment around your face.
An awesome beautiful site - that blizzard. Wild, free, untouched, and whimsical snow flying through the sky. It was a good strategy that your van positioned facing the wind direction. And the next morning was so gorgeous. Not much snow build-up at all. Thankful for that snowplow to do such a thorough job in clearing your parking area. Looking forward to the "deep white unknown of the north"!! LOVE IT - cannot wait to join you again to the north.
Glad you enjoyed it my friend, it was epic, there was actually quite a lot of snow, but the area around the van was blown completely clean, apart from the sharkfin.

Dangerous brutal weather for walkers and skiers for balance. Excellent microphone and it’s always coffee/tea time with extreme temperatures. We grow our own hot chilies for quesadillas. Love your cozy mobile home. In New Mexico, you astounded us again, thank you.

Much enjoyed Beautiful drone footage. It is really paying off in the cinematography side. The van, hell, Jaws. Fun to watch during new knee theraphy. I had it done. Much better but sore as a fork in the eye. Lots theraphy. Everyday better. Those high points aren't getting away from my travels.

I LOVE this beautiful snow! We normally have a fair amount of snow in the midwest of the United States. However, the last few years we have hardly any accumulation. I miss it. There is nothing like a beautiful, windy snowfall whike I am inside cozy & warm with a hot cup of coffee or tea.

I see your OSMO Pocket 3 gimbal camera is performing admirably in such harsh weather conditions. I would have thought the violent wind gusts would have disrupted or even broken the delicate gimbal assembly at the top of the device, but it appears from your footage to be fully functioning and withstanding the pressures of such a harsh environment.
Yes, but after a while the gimbal freezes from the snowdrift in the storms, so the footage starts shaking violently, but it has been out in a couple of serious storms now. I do have to switch to the Sony every now and then when the gimbal freezes.

It's fantastic warming up in the cosyness of your van, with a strong and hot coffee and a delicious quesadilla ! You make me laugh saying you have to hurry up with preparing your meal in order not to miss a single moment of the snow-storm ! Recently you were fleeing the icy temperatures of minus 30, permanent icy rain, to get later on in different harsh conditions : snow-storm and blizzard again. However, essential is that you highly ENJOY it ! (Or am i wrong ?) The snowdrift creates marvellous photos of the trees, in all nuances of grey, as if it were pencil-drawings. Beautiful !

That is absolutely roaring. What a blizzard and that’s not the worst of it apparently holy smokes, but I can see where that would be some fun and then when they get sick, you just jump in the van. It’s a good thing you got the right clothing.

Amazing..... beautiful beautiful video. This is the first video I saw which focuses on weather, storm, snow, cozy atmosphere inside the van. All other camping videos I have seen so far are basically cookery sows 🤔

It's fantastic warming up in the cosyness of your van, with a strong and hot coffee and a delicious quesadilla ! You make me laugh saying you have to hurry up with preparing your meal in order not to miss a single moment of the snow-storm ! Recently you were fleeing the icy temperatures of minus 30, permanent icy rain, to get later on in different harsh conditions : snow-storm
and blizzard again. However, essential is that you highly ENJOY it ! (Or am i wrong ?) The snowdrift creates marvellous photos of the trees, in all nuances of grey, as if it were pencil-drawings. Beautiful !
