you do such a great job flattening out moving the soil with the dozers, just like it was a shovel! put in the bottom fill then replacing the top soil.. it must be nice to use that D8 dozer!
To keep the dirt from sticking to the blade when I get to the end of the push, I push the blade down a little bit, and it will come right off when I back up.
Looks like you can use a pan, my friend. Once you build the elevation there will be no need for tile. You're solving the wet spot the best way. Get that water down into the sand aquifer. 😊
When the D8 gets her new undercarriage and tracks, she’ll be able to fill in the Valley of the Shadow of Death before lunch 😆 Maybe Clint can help find you some tracks? 🤷♂️
Track Chain D8k AMT Equipment parts $6000 Each . do you need NEW grousers and rollers or is it better cost wise to build up the old ones? Great video thanks
It is obvious to those of us that follow your channel but, you might mention that the topsoils is very thin (x Inches) and the underlying sand is not fertile. In your later comments about mixing sand with the mcuk, perhaps I still misunderstand.
D8 some need undercarriage work? Tracks look kinda of loose. CAT now assembles their D8s in Brazil where the Brazilian government pays Cat 25K for each unit assembled.
Great video Brandon the old D-8 can really push the dirt even with her racing slicks WOW just imagine what she could do with a new undercarriage 😁
It is strikingly apparent that Diesel = food supply for the world.
