As a first responder who loves watching response videos, this video was very sobering. We get the call and don't hesitate to go, we work hard, we do everything we can. The bad scenes we come across will never leave us.
Nice job on keeping a respectable distance, and shooting mainly the responses/heli landing. You caught some awesome clips. Horribly sad situation.
Thank you. Yes, very sad!
Respectable and good footage, I’m glad you keep a good distance from scenes.
Thank you. I try to never show anything sensitive. Thanks for watching and supporting!
Respectable and good footage, I'm glad you keep a good distance from scenes.
Respectful handling and filming of a sensitive situation - while remaining informative, and covering the scale/seriousness of it all. Your content remains invaluable to the community as a helpful source of accessible local news, and a showcase of the hardworking response teams in the area. Once again, well done!
Thank you very much for the kind words. Yeah, I try my best to be respectful and not post anything sensitive for scenes like this one. I try to get most calls, but sometimes I'm not able to "respond" ;). Thanks again for being a fan!
Good job, buddy! This is the 1st video I've watched on your channel and I'm going to subscribe now🤗.
What else do you do? Any tips on "making it" haha with covering this type of stuff?
I just started a new page for my city in CT on fb: Breaking News in Waterbury (CT). Please check.it out and let me know what you think 🤗.
We do it for fun and because our shootings have increased dramatically recently and the newspaper doesn't cover it... almost 2,000 likes/followers in 2 months, I think it's fun 😆🤗
@@jdrfqueen Thanks for the kind words and for your support! What do you mean by "making it"? Making it to the calls or getting the channel to grow? Good luck with your page!
@@CoolFireTrucks noooo, nothing as "big" as a yt channel, just my fb page. I'd like to keep it growing and maybe turn it into a freelancing reporter job 🤗. Any ideas?
@@jdrfqueen Not really. I don't run a Facebook page so I really have no idea.
This is sad...
-Good job to the Firefighters, EMS, and the other Rescue Team 👍
Yes, it is. Thanks for watching.
I'M A FORMER VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER. WHEN A CALL OF MVA/E GOES OUT, IT'S HORRIBLE.

Never good when Life Flight is called in.
No, it is not. Thanks for watching
Had to deal with this exact same situation many times myself. It’s always both sad and tragic no matter how many times I’ve seen it.
Thank you for what you do
Right in front of the church. Chills....
Nice catch Bangor dont get many calls but when they do they get there as fast as possible.
Thanks! What do you mean about Bangor? Are you talking about Life Flight?
Sheriff drives like he owns the town
Lol imagine if that sheriff does🤣 since I live in maine
Amazing video! So sad that 2 people lost their life’s in this. God bless 🙏
Thanks. Yes, very sad. 😕
Tragic loss excellent Catch 🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒
Yes it was. Thanks
Living here in Maine it's not uncommon to see fatal accidents yes semi rare but it's the fact of 45+ speed limits and twisty roads are just a bad mixture and oh don't forget about the snow..... Oh Lord.
I hope and pray 🙏 for the survivors that do make a full recovery as they rest and recover while they are in the hospital.
Dam you know its Worse when they have to call an Helicopter!
Especially to the scene.
@@CoolFireTrucks Yea Definitely is everyone okay At least?
@@stormy3712 I'm not sure.
@@CoolFireTrucks Gotcha
Such a sad situation.
Yes, it is :(
It was gut wrenching to see those Harris signs...
Really was.
Only good thing about this horrible crash.
@@Thumbhit1 what? President Trump is great!
better to see biden harris signs than trump signs but thank god trump lossed we are all blessed now
@@harrypederson4597 uhhh...why?
Early on, was that a Wardens Service pickup, or a Forest Service pickup, responding code 3?

Thanks!
@@CoolFireTrucks Np Good Video
Those poor souls will be paying for that helicopter the rest of their lives
DOES NOT COST NOTHING FOR IT
I have always wondered that...LifeStar in CT went out at least twice this week; are those calls always free?
@@flight6662 ...
Untrue. You definitely get billed for a ride in ANY ambulance. A helicopter is a flying ambulance. The only time you wouldn't be billed is if your insurance picked up the tab.

They are deceased so I would imagine their insurance took care of such things.
RIP
they didnt even die its just injuries
We're at
Oyster River Rd and Route 1 in Thomaston Maine
yesterday i saw a accident
where was it?
As a future first responder I never want to live this
Then it may not be the job for you
As a former first responder, I have bad news for you, you will at some point. Stay strong, and talk to someone afterwards, if needed!! Thanks for getting into this tough, but respectful line of work!!!
No what I meant is I wish I never have to live this
@@danielsullivan7912 that’s the same sentence and still doesn’t make any sense. These folks are warning you that as a first responder you will absolutely have this happen.
Must be a tiny little 2 house out of the way town if they have that many responding with unmarked vehicles?
They're Thomaston P.D., Knox Sheriff or State Troopers. All were marked except for the last SUV.
