Love this discussion. Would love to see you take a deeper dive. I see some people in the comments not understanding why you took the approach you did. But I appreciate taking our time with the Word. From my understanding though, I’m still looking for more textual evidence of the point you make at the end. I always thought that that passage “they will eat and live forever” meant they were about to do that, and God prevented it. Not saying that I’m right at all, but would love to see some other exegesis that supports the idea you put forth. Appreciate you! Keep up the good work as the Lord directs you brother

She overstated God because when God gave Adam the command, he said “don’t Eat” and after they ate when the lord was confronting them, he asked “did you eat?”. We see no account of God saying eat and touch anywhere, so she overstated.
Just shows the corrupting power of communication with the deceitful person of Satan and his angels, even for a perfect being.

A lot of people get this wrong unnecessarily and they make it too complicated. Start back in the previous chapter. God stated, in Genesis 2:17, that in the day they ate of it, they would surely die, dying. No, that's not a typo. Muth appears twice. The whole sense is that dying, they would eventually die. They started dying that very day. Everything in the body that leads to death happened the very moment they disobeyed God. In other words, Adam was already dying, "Dying you will die" and, as it were, he was a dead man walking. Well, Eve would die also, but "dead woman walking" doesn't carry the same vibe, I guess you could say. It absolutely referred to physical death. New Testament scriptures all refer to death (literal, physical death) as deriving from Adam. Man has always had a part to play in his own immortality, which he forfeited in the Garden. Even in heaven (and in the new earth) there will still be the tree of life, which we will have access to.

The Bible says by one man's sin, death entered the world. People love to focus on conspiracy theories and what is not written, instead of what matters. They love mysteries, which blinds them from the truth. Adam and Eve were not special, and they suffered the same fate as all humans after them would (apart from Elijah and Enock, who theologists argue would be the two witnesses and would also die).

I have a question; especially for anyone that may say we don’t die spiritually: why would we have to be born again? And if so (which we know scripture makes quite clear and John speaks about being born of the spirit and of water, in addition to being born not of the will of man but of God - John 1:12-13 & 3:6) what is born again? It can’t be the flesh. It continues to die. I appreciate your thoughts.

    • @Wise_Son
      @Wise_Son Місяць тому

Born again means the heart is reformed. We get one spirit and it does not die and does not come again into existence a second time.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 (KJV 1900): A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
God is saying the soul will change from sinful to holy, from carnal to spiritual. When you are born again you no longer have a desire to live against God's will, and when you do slip it grieves you. You no longer affirm or make excuses for your sinful nature.

Hi Corey. I've a simple suggestion for your next LOGOS based video tutorial. Though I can find a bunch of the books in my own Logos library, I've no need of Bible written in the original language because I can't read it. Why not use the interlinear version of the text? This way, the rest of us can follow along. Keep in mind, we're not all seminary students.
I would definitely agree with having the lexicon and Word Study up because I definitely use these, in my own studies. The same thing for a few commentaries. I'll check to see if Logos will bail me out with it's built in interlinear.

Now before someone asks, "how do we know THAT does not mean physical death?" Well 1st, thanks for asking, 2nd, did Jesus sin??? Yet He experienced a PHYSICAL death! So it is clear, original sin gave us both deaths but subsequent sin ONLY deals with spiritual death. The proof: ALL fathered by man are born into sin yet we know physical death can be avoided (Enoch). 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Hello Brother Corey I have question off subject from video, but with everything going on with pastors and brothers falling into sin that’s disqualifying them from pastoral positions I was hoping you can touch more base on the subject. Reason being is because I was in ministry for over 5 years and was blessed to be able to able to lead worship and ministry the word from the pulpit. I was never ordained or anything my pastor ask me to start having a message ready and would receive a phone call or text ask me share the word on a Wednesday or Sunday morning and believe God was using me to bring His, but through the time that I was in ministry I meet my wife and we courted for some time and i decided I was going to move out of the men’s home I was in it was part of the ministry to help those coming off drugs and alcohol and wanted to change their lives. During the time I was there over 5 years just doing what I believe God had me doing I was pure from sexual sin of any kind I wanted to just please God but then I started praying for a wife and when I decided to leave the men’s home and work but still be part of the church pastor was still using me to preach and lead worship but eventually me and my wife before she was my wife we jumped the gun and sinned, I told her I gotta let pastor know, the next day I went to pastor he sat me down and I understood I can’t be preaching and sinning like that. Pastor ask me what do you want to now I said we want to get married so we did marriage classes before getting married and we still fell before marriage but knew we needed to make it right. But it’s been over 7 years and my question for myself and others who have been in the same boat is dose that disqualify us from pastoral ship?

Maybe I misunderstood but did I here you say every time the word die is used in the Bible it means a physical death. Well that can't be because 1 Corinthians 15:31 Literally says "I die daily". We've come to know that to mean turning away from the from the desires of are heart and live in the life that God desires for us. So that doesn't mean he physically dies daily. So maybe I'm missing something. Let me know.

@@donharris8846 So, what exactly did I say that wasn’t scriptural based? Nothing. I love a good scriptural based discussion for edification. But, the disparaging statements only serve to sow discord.
      - Day in Gen 2:17 and 1:5 both translate to yôwm in the Hebrew. The definition includes a literal and figurative definition. Meaning sometimes it’s literally sunset to sunset, etc. and others it’s FIGURATIVELY “a space of time defined by an associated term.”
That means there is no singular definition for the word “day” for every usage in the Bible. Furthermore, in Gen 2:17, God said “…in the day…” which translates to “when” by way of the figure of speech “Synecdoche.”
Adam clearly didn’t die in the exact same day he ate the fruit. So, what type of “day” and “when” was God referring to? II Peter 3:8 describes it ”as” 1000 years. And, after sin entered the earth, no human has lived longer than 1,000 years.
Just as in Gen 2:4…God is not saying he made the heavens and earth in one day.

You’re correct that there is no single definition for “day” in the Bible (that’s actually a Christian’s first problem). But you shouldn’t have to look past Genesis to see how the God used the word day, that should be your guiding usage. Genesis 1:5 “…there was evening, then there was morning, the first day”, Genesis 2:3 “ God blessed the seventh day and he made it holy”. These aren’t figuratively thousands of years, they are days. We can’t flip flop (gymnastics pun) whenever it’s convenient for the argument or else that creates confusion. And God is not the author of confusion, I heard.

Thats very relevant today where often people don’t even see God until they are struggling and are “naked”
Adam and eves clothes came from the knowledge of good and evil, not from what God commanded..
We can often wonder what our purpose is and think good vs evil , but whats beyond that is God.

[22] And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
This clearly explains that it is a physical death. Before they sinned there was no desire to eat from the tree of life because they were going to live forever. But disobedience brought death. So now in sin, they would now have a desire to eat from the tree of life. So God kicked them out the garden so they wouldn't be able to eat from that tree.

Once it decided not to let man live forever then it kicked them out of the garden only after setting up security around that fruit of life. * Remember in Psalm the holy city where God is Zion in the North it's heaven.
3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, (“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man.) ( He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.)
*And remember out from heaven A renewed Jerusalem is coming from Elohim, this is Mount Zion you can argue, His Holy Hill, coming from the far sides of the North heaven, and coming here on earth, the fracture of creation has now been unified this point.
To really make the point clear this is the next chapter.
    Revelation 22 -
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb (through the middle of the street of the city; ) also, (on either side of the river,) ( the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, ) (yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.)
    * Where is the tree of life now? In the third heaven.
    2 Corinthians 12 -
2I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago (was caught up to the third heaven) -whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. 3And I know that this man was (caught up into paradise)-whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows
Paradise - paradeisos - g3857 - παράδεισος - grove, park ( garden, pleasure ground ) ( heaven ) the upper regions of the heavens. According to the early church Fathers, the paradise in which our first parents dwelt before the fall still exists, neither on the earth or in the heavens, but above and beyond the world
    Location is important -
    Genesis 3 -
Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever-” 23therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. 24He drove out the man, and (at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.)
    * Ezekiel 28 speaks of what ? You were the anointed cherubim that stood in the garden..
The Hebrew is very interesting here let's see why.
The root word of this means to dwell, it's where the word dwelling place comes from, it's in the causable form that means that Yah is causing this, so from or to eternity or east, you can translate this, Yah caused the cherubim to dwell to guard the garden, but they come from a divine origin, the cherubim themselves.
Let me ask you this? Where is the cherubim right now? Are they on Earth? No where is God causing them to dwell? Around his throne, so around the ark of the Covenant and The Mercy seat??? Again between the two mountains was what the high priest standing with the ark of the Covenant and where was Jesus standing John chapter 4? And where was Jesus in the garden of Eden.
    * Creation got fractured into three, we have a third heaven, a second heaven, and Earth our time domain, and I believe this Hebrew is speaking interdimensional speak, of what we would call it today, interdimensional. Because the cherubim are guarding the way to the tree of life and last time I checked that's up there... And the cherubim are around the Throne of God.
It's clearly a heavenly place, because the adversary wants it, another job says what? He goes to and fro accusing us night and day.
    * Satan is the lone accuser.
He wants to raise himself up, but in Revelation you see Mount Zion New Jerusalem coming down, and it's telling you point blank, the tree of life is now there that what we have been cut off from Genesis is now here at that time. What did we see in genesis? What do the cherubims guard ? The garden. The tree of Life.. To the throne...
Right now the throne is in the heavenly it's in Mount Zion, it's in the third heaven Revelation 22:1-2 says it's going to come back together one day where it was fractured.. where is the tree of Life now? In heaven where will it be after the thousand years?
Here on Earth. There is a plurality to the throne he who overcomes shall set on my throne, Revelation 2 Revelation 3 Daniel 7, there is a plurality involved with the tree of Life, because it says in the middle of its street, on either side of the river, ( was the tree of Life, )
Again what's Isaiah 11 the branch Neser shall bear fruit John 15 I am the vine he prunes to Bear more fruit. Romans 11 he is the root that supports the olive trees... How can one tree be on both sides.
    Mark 8:24-26
He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”
Think of Messiah being one with his bride, think of branches being grafted in to the tree. Think of Yeshua being the vine and we are the branches..
    * I believe from what we've covered we can deduce that the tree of life was where Jerusalem is...
But right now it's in the heavenly Jerusalem, I argue that the garden of Eden is actually where Jerusalem is, and it's not really eating anymore because creation was fractured. Why ?? There was the separation of Heaven and Earth... And the cherubim was guarding the way...
    * I believe currently it is in the heavenly Jerusalem.
    Genesis 2:8
8And the LORD God planted (a garden in Eden,) ( from eternity ) and there he put the man whom he had formed.
    * Respects the question, where was the tree of knowledge of Good and evil?

As for the location of the garden, it's easier for me to believe it remained on earth or under the surface, invisible and unreachable from the living.
The garden was/is the holy of holies of Yah on earth, guarded by cherubim after the inhabitants were exiled.
The tree of life is in it and will be for the overcomers, the inheritant of earth.

God loved Adam and Eve. And though His word was transgressed, He covered them through a sacrifice, which covered the transgression. Blood had to be shed, so they could keep their physical lives. And yet they still had to suffer separation from the presence of God, due to their fallen state of mind. They were passed over. God covered them with skins of an animal. God truely declared the end from the beginning. Mercy & Grace perserved their lives. But innocent blood still was shed to make it so. Today we may not grasp what that meant but the LORD had to sacrifice an innocent animal for his disobedient children, that they may live. The animals were blessed by God as well, called to be fruitful and multiply as well, actually called good. "To obey is better than sacrifice," as it is written!🙏🏿

Nobody is arguing against that. The issue is whether God was referring to physical, spiritual, or death in totality. A natural reading of the text would have any reader assuming God was referring primarily to physical death, since the purpose of the *tree of life* was to live, physically, forever. THAT was the purpose of the tree, and if they disobeyed the Lord, then they would die, physically, because He would withhold the tree of life. This shows how, if we just back up the bus a little and ask a couple of pertinent questions, the answer is surprisingly easy.

Maybe we are missing the point in the scriptures about Adam
What do we know about Adam ?
Adam was : created sinless and perfect. He had no sin nature. Like Christ
Adam came alive from out of the ground . Like Christ
Before anyone else was created, Adam had a one on one relationship with God. Like Christ.
Adam's side was pierced , to give his bride life . Like Christ.
    I believe Adam intentionally sinned against God ( 1 Timothy 2:14 ).
I think Adam is a "type " of Christ.
I think Adam loved Eve ( his bride) so much, that he was willing to die for her sins.
I truly believe that Adam knew Eve was going to die for her sins, and he was willing to take her sin upon himself and die for her sins.
    Romans 5:14.
Im no Bible scholar , but I have been biblically researching this for almost a year.
Maybe we have been looking at Adam the wrong way .
Eve was the transgressor , according to
    1 Timothy 2:14.
I am open for discussion about this . After 40 years of studying God's Word, Im still learning new things every week.

A day to God is but a thousand years to man.
In that day which is one of Gods days, not mans. Adam died before he was 1000yrs old. 🤔
This also works for the creation week from Gods perspective. And we have not yet got through the whole week yet, Gods week. He said "I will not strive with man forever" and said "his number shall be 120. I believe this to be jubilee years. Which occurs every 50yrs. 120x50 is 6000yrs and then there will be a thousand year millennial reign of Yeshua Hamashiach. Which is the "day of rest" and then on the eighth day or 8thou yr we have a "new heaven and new earth" the number 8 in hebrew represents new beginnings. Noah for instance the 8th man which ended the old world and began a new.
So i take this to literally be .....in Gods day you will surely die. Which still fits the phrase "that day" its mysterious alluding to a different perspective than from mans. Who other than God could have wrote Genesis? Moses wasnt there.... obviously God spoke from His perspective and Moses copied it exactly how God said.
Its a nifty way to look at it and i think it solves alot of nuances to the "times, day\s, age, etc" when they are used and we clearly see what seems to be contradictive to as we continue reading. But that just helps me picture it all out in my head. Cause its not a lie 🤥

Note also that the decreasing in life expectancy has been steep after the flood and seems ro plateau around 120 ish nowadays, for the exceptional cases. Meaning the 120*49 years of Jubilees are drawing to it's end and older than 120 men are not going to be. Both reading can be right.

The trees of the Garden - part 2
    Location matters -
    * It begs the question where was the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil ??
It's a good question. To cover this we have to tackle the ground works of foundation to build up to it like we previously did.
Last portion I sowed the seed of Mount Ebal and Gerizim. We know Gerizim was the blessings and Ebal was the curses.
What's another way of saying blessings and curses?? Good and evil. Is there a connection to this place and the tree of good and evil ? If so the scriptures should tell us !
In order to even cover that we have to tackle the fall of Man from the garden. And we've inherited so many lies from the Catholic Church. To go through this I will cause some knee jerks. And the more I go through with this the more it's going to be to focus on what I'm saying because of the noise in your head feeling convicted. And I'm just going to be blunt with you.
    Genesis 3 - The Fall
    (Rom. 5:12-21 )
I love how even the blb connects this with Romans 5 iykyk
Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, 4But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.
(( 6So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. 7Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths. ))
11He said, ( “Who told you that you were naked? ) ( Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” ) 12The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.”
Now yah is dishing out judgement.
The LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, ( cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; )
( on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. ) (I will put enmity between you and the woman, ) ( and between your offspring and her offspring; ) he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
    * Few things are going on here, 1. Eyes were opened knowing something has gone wrong. Then we see again ( like all throughout scripture ) this promise of a ( seed )
    To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.” And to Adam he said, (“Because of you ) have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ( ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; ) in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
    * Because of you can be translated it can be rendered for your sake we will get to that.
(( 18thorns and thistles )) it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field.
    * Is there a parables of thorns and thistles ?
19By the sweat of your face ( you shall eat bread, ) ( till you return to the ground, )
for out of it you were taken; ( for you are dust,
and to dust you shall return.” )
Cursed is ground for your sake - the curse of the Fall, is actually for our benefit, Elohim goes you're in a fallen state I'm going to have to do a few things to help you out with that. The main one is ( toil ) we are meant to toil in our fallen state to plead back to him. ( In the spirit ) Is our inner consciousness. Genesis 2. Toil was given to us for our sake you think how ??
Well I'm a man who has had to toil all the days of my life, with depression, addiction anger, etc. Jail, rehab, homelessness, when it comes to a man who has had to toil I am one. But what I found there is this inner cry and inner remorse and hurt, inner wanting to be restored back to where ( we use to be ) man shall til the ground and toil.
Who here sees people who's done nothing with their lives lives in depression because the things we didn't do ? Hi 👋🏼 I do. And for the ones who has worked in the garden we like to now look back and say look at it ?? Look what I did !!! But neglecting the why I had to do it in the first place. Toil is all about our nature and for our benefit !
Believe it or not bring forth children in toil is for your benefit sisters. Because of our fallen state. This is why Paul would say the women should be saved through childbirth. because he's referring back to this.
Then the LORD God said, ( “Behold, the man has become like one of us ) ( in knowing good and evil. ) ( Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever-” )
    * This is why there has to be a separation, man cannot live forever in a fallen state, again he is Holy.. take your shoes off this is Holy ground you are walking on...
    * What is it that defines good and evil is it the world's standards or God's? It's the Torah, the Torah defines what's good and what's evil Messiah says Woe to those who call good evil and evil good.
7(Then the eyes of both were opened,) ( and they knew that they were naked.) And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.
    * When I look at Isaiah 29 I separate this from that because God is the one who closed the eyes of the House of Israel Isaiah 26 and Daniel 12:4 he will open it with the word see how the word? And this is different between what we did at the fall and that I wanted to make the two distinguished right there.
How did they know they've done something wrong?? What is it that the defines right and wrong? Torah. You get something very interesting.
    Psalm 119:130
The opening of your words gives light, giving understanding to the simple.
How did they know? How were their eyes opened??? They suddenly had an understanding of right and wrong??? And totah defines right and wrong. I'm not saying Yeshua simple Torah down like a scroll and they ate it. But I'm saying they had an understanding here.
    What am I saying ???
Let's see what Paul had to say.
    Romans 7 -
What then shall we say? (That the law is sin?) (By no means!) ( Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin.) ( For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said,) “You shall not covet.”
*You can read it this way - Is the Torah the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? May it not be. However I did not know sin except through the Torah, for also the covetousness I knew not if the Torah had not said, you shall not covet. But sin, ( haven't taken the occasion through the command, ) did work in me all sorts of covetousness for apart from Torah send is dead.
    Isaiah 29
10For the LORD has poured out upon you
    a spirit of deep sleep,
and has closed your eyes (the prophets),
and covered your heads (the seers). And the vision of all this has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed. When men give it to one who can read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.”
    Daniel 12:4
4But you, Daniel, (shut up the words and seal the book,) ( until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, ) (and knowledge shall increase.”)
Again how did they know that they had sinned?

If this death of which you speak was not physical, then when does the Bible get around to mentioning that we die, physically, because of sin? And in the New testament, we are plainly told that by one man sin entered the world and death because of sin. The fact that God is Spirit and we must worship Him in spirit is a non sequitur. It's a straw man. Of course we need to worship Him in spirit, but that has nothing to do with the death as a curse from disobedience.

(Caps used to highlight my point)
      Revelation 1:18 NASBS
and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I Am Alive FOREVERMORE, ...
The Resurrection is the evidence that Jesus sacrifice was successful(that wasn't His death that was our death because of our sin). His sacrifice was sufficient in paying the debt penalty which is death. Sin brings death. When when God comes in with animal skins something had to die. That's the first evidence of death in the Bible. The innocent animal dying for the guilty humans.
The humans try their way leaves God gave them something better animal skins.
He provided the proper covering for their shame.
I hope you see the Christ in that explanation. God proving the covering. The innocent dying for the guilty. Humans trying to do it themselves.
Jesus the innocent dying for the guilty. Jesus is the provision given by God for our sin and forgiveness.
In summary Adam and Eve lost immortality for humans. They were cut off from to the Tree of Life.

@smartchristians Yes, Moses wrote what God said He said. Then Moses writes down what God said, Eve said he said. That is the evidence of Eve adding to what God actually said. And there is a lesson in there for us to benefit from. Like your shirt says "WHATEVER GOD SAID"! What God says is dependable and reliable to wage war against the enemy, its the sword of the Spirit. Adding our own word only dulls the blade and gives ground to the enemy. Look at Jesus in the wilderness, for it is written, for it is written... What is written is what God said! You just have to believe His word and believe in His Word! Satan is the one who questions and twist the Word of God.

Well alot of the confusion is cause they keep "updating" the Bible & 1 word can change the meaning of an entire sentence. I have a Bible from the 1870s... they are not the same as today's Bible by far. Why are we just accepting them tampering with the Bible & excluding books?

“Excluded books” is a Roman Catholic distortion. The early church councils identified 66 books to include. A handful of other books, the “deuterocanonical,” were included for reference. They were in the Bible, but they were not considered Bible.
The Reformation showed everyone that certain Catholic dogmas were not biblical. In ~1550, priests found (very poor) support for some of the unbiblical teachings. So, over a millennium late, Rome added the deuterocanonical books to their list of inspired books. So, to Roman Catholics, that made them “Bible,” not just reference books IN the Bible.
Ironically, their actions were an admission that the early, “infallible” church councils were wrong.
Centuries later, when Protestant Bibles stopped including the deuterocanonical books, Catholics accused them of excluding books. But the Protestant Bibles only replaced books that even Rome agreed was only reference material for over a 1000 years.

@@ricksonora6656 I appreciate the response & don't disagree but it's not just a Roman Catholic thing. I noticed today's Ethiopian Bible is very close to the Family Bible I have dating back over 100 years. Along with more books, it literally tells us how to live, what to eat, what to plant, how to recognize the seasons, ect... is more detailed explanations of the verses. I also noticed the word Lord is not in the family Bible but in today's bible... the etymology of the word Lord refers to Baal😳

Why do people need to edit scriptures so often ? Just to keep the printing industry alive or to tamper with and further dilute the Word ?

This is why I stopped believing in the Bible. No book that’s supposed to be a guide to our so called eternal salvation should have to be analyzed and deciphered to understand it. If I wrote a guide telling you how to survive it would be clear and concise with no room for doubt as to the meaning of what I’ve written down. The Bible is not that way.

    Romans 7 -
What then shall we say? (That the law is sin?) (By no means!) ( Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin.) ( For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said,) “You shall not covet.”
*You can read it this way - Is the Torah the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? May it not be. However I did not know sin except through the Torah, for also the covetousness I knew not if the Torah had not said, you shall not covet. But sin, ( haven't taken the occasion through the command, ) did work in me all sorts of covetousness for apart from Torah send is dead.
Psalm says your Torah is a lamp under my feet.
Isaiah 8:20 to the Torah and to the witness, if they do not speak of this, they have no day break.
Their eyes had to be open to something, you got to remember they have never experienced evil, not until up until this point, all they have experienced was good. How do you know something is good if you don't have evil to contrast it? If you don't have evil to contrast it all you have is normality. So something happened that the fall of man, to where their eyes were opened and they understood right and wrong. They realize they were naked they realized they were in a shameful place..
As Paul would say the Torah is sin? May it not be, is the tree of Life evil? Is the Torah the knowledge of the good and evil? May it not be.
They partook of something, and suddenly their eyes were open and they were ashamed..
    * So again how did Adam and Eve know that what they did was wrong? Sin having taken occasion through the command. The command was do not eat of this tree.
    * How did they know they were naked? Revelation 3
    Revelation 3:17
17For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, (not realizing) that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, (blind, and naked.) 18I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that (you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen,) and (salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.)
    * Proverbs also says buy wisdom from me. Would that be the equivalent to the wise in Daniel?
Let's look at Romans 5 - Death in Adam, Life in Christ
    (Gen. 3:1-19 )
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one ( man anthrōpos g444 ἄνθρωπος ) and death through sin, and so death spread to all (men anthrōpos g444 ἄνθρωπος ) ( because all sinned- ) (for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given,) ( but sin is not counted where there is no law. )
Paul is anticipating what someone may say is Torah evil no may it not be. So until the torah, sin was in the world, when the Torah was given on Mount Sinai, he said sin was in the world? Was sitting in the world? What does Genesis about the men of old in those days there was sin and violence in the world...
But sin is not reckoned when there is no Torah? How can sin being the world if the Torah had not been officially given? Paul makes this statement.
14 (Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses,) even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.
    * How is death possible? The wages of sin is death... And sin equals the breaking of the Torah. So if death is reigning from Adam until Moses, that means there's some kind of Torah going on isn't there?
    Galatians 3
Why then the law? (It was added because of transgressions, parabasis g3847 παράβασις ) (until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made,) and (it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.)
    * So here it was added because of the transgressions.
    1st Timothy 1
Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9( understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless ) and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers 10the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever ( else is contrary to sound doctrine, ) (( 11in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted. )))
Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; .
    * I needed a soul to be revived. And he revived it.
    Galatians 3
Why then the law? (It was added because of transgressions, parabasis g3847 παράβασις ) (until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made,) and (it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.)
parabasis g3847 παράβασις - the breach of a definite, promulgated, ratified - of the Mosaic law - metaph. a disregarding, violating
Let's look at something more in depth second Thessalonians 2 -
3Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, (unless the rebellion) comes first, and (the man of ( lawlessness anomia g458 ἀνομία ) is revealed ( the son of perdition )
lawlessness anomia g458 ἀνομία - the condition of without law - because ignorant of it - because of violating it - contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness
    Matthew 7:23 ring a bell ?
    Ezekiel 3:18
18If I say to the wicked, ( ‘You shall surely die,’ ) and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, ( that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.)
    * Again what's sin.
    Galatians 3
Why then the law? (It was added because of transgressions, parabasis g3847 παράβασις ) (until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made,) and (it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.)
We have been taught the torah was added, because of the transgression of the golden calf I mean you can add that layer but again letting the scriptures interpret itself it's because of what happened in Genesis.
    Romans 5:14
14(Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses,) even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.
Notice that the sin is linked to the seed? And what would the seed come and do take away the sins of the world Who bore all sin who didn't sin... Who was the promise of the seed first given to? To Adam and Eve and they sinned. Did they transgress the law? Yes they did.
    Galatians 3
Why then the law? (It was added because of transgressions, parabasis g3847 παράβασις ) (until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made,) and (it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.)
    Romans 5:14
14(Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses,) even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.
    Genesis 3:15
I will put in the tea between you and the woman, ( between your seed and her seed. ) He shall crush your head, and you shall crush his heel. .

      Riddle me this -
      * How did Cain and Abel know how to give pleasing sacrifices?
      * How did Noah know the difference between clean and unclean?
      * How did Abraham know about guarding the torah? Genesis 26:5 5because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.”
      Could it be?
      * Because of man's fallen state, Elohim pronounce judgments upon Adam and Eve for their sake.
      * I believe because of man's fallen state, Elohim gave them laws to be able to navigate life in a fallen state.
      Romans 5:12
Therefore, ( just as sin came into the world through one man, ) and ( death through sin, ) and ( so death spread to all men ) ( because all sinned- )

The Law has ro be from the beggining, and God being the legislator, He brings amendements with every discoveries made by men in the field of possible sins.
