I was one of those people who initially thought i could pay off most of my loans in a year with the 100k pharmacist's salary. Thanks for letting me know the reality of the situation and give me a heads up for the future.
Thanks for this helpful video. The university of Loma Linda, school of pharmacy, costs 220,000 dollars and I talked to the adviser. she told me although the debt is extremely high, a pharmacist can pay it off because makes a good money. Based on what I heard from you, it does not seem wise to go to that school since it is hellaaaa expensive.
There are a lot of factors that can speed up the repayment process. It's all about choices..do you really need to trade in your old car for payments? Can you go back to live with your parents? Do you really need a cell phone bill costing $120 a month?(pretty much everyone outside Metro PCS), Do you really need full coverage on your old car? Do you really need cable tv? Do you really need Life/health insurance as soon as you take off your cap and gown? A LOT of fees can be put on the back burner.
Your vids are awesome man thanks! Currently at CSUN working on BA in Biology and planning on going to UoP for pharm grad school, these vids help immensely with what I should plan for today and the years to come! I've also started eating more vegetables

Thanks! I needed the wake up call...
So... don't attend pharmacy school if you can't afford it out of pocket?
Agreed. Cut the fat from your expenses. The pharmacists I've seen don't live extravagantly just because of $100k a year.
do you have any suggestions on how to overcome this rat race?
Start a business
$100K per year? not really.
vietnamemperor123461 more like 60k.
so join the military for loan forgiveness.
