I love the story about you and Brody (I hope I´m Spelling that right) and of course it must be on Halloween, the cliché only adds to the cuteness of it :-) It is rare that love sticks like that, and does not fade away in time. Thanks for a great Q&A. And who in their right mind does not want to meet Trent Reznor?? The guy is a genious at what he does and manages to look even hotter today than when he made "Closer"... :-D
Miss E, Great Q&A! I think you have a fantastic attitude towards life and an Amazing personality. You look gorgeous & your style and seamstress skills are so inspiring! Your channel cheers me up and restores my faith in humanity. 🖤
Great video MissE. I miss those days of diy fashion! That was my life, lol! Also, the story of how you met Brodie, (which would been my question) was so sweet and gothically charming! Love that called you a poser, lmao! Btw, he scored big! Really looking forward to the video of Miss E: The early years, lol. Highly doubt that will disappoint! And that skeleton suit was impressive af! 1 more: I would totally buy a ticket to a performance by Satan’s Seamstresses!! 😉
Just wanted to say I love how talented you are and love your videos..I love doing DIY and am kinda amazed at what is available these days since some days I feel like I'm so old..lol
@Melissa Longworth I feel that! I look at the prices on something mass produced. Some stuff is so ridiculously steep. With all the Killstar and more floating around I wish more people were into DIY like they were 20 yrs ago.
DIY or die! I agree with you both. Not only is it easier on the wallet, but it makes your style totally individual AND it keeps your creativity flowing. There is really no downside!
I have been to WGW before when we?went to England and would LOVE to go back! It was absolutely fantastic. *sigh* one of these days I will find enough money to go travelling again . . .
I always like hearing how people got into goth as well. It's different for everyone, but a lot if the time if seems to revolve around the music, the fashion and an artistic personality somehow!
Your style is amazing!! I wish you would tell us a bit more about your make up, for example, I am LIVING for that lipstick, what is it??? I have a need!
Thank you! I gave had quite a few people ask me about this particular makeup look, so I have decided to do a tutorial on it, which I will be uploading in the next few weeks! Keep your eyes peeled!
@@MadameAbsinthe It's kind of funny that the older I've gotten the louder and heavier my music choices have gotten. I'm becoming a full fledged metal head. lol
I don't know if I was the only one asking but I was at least one of the persons who wondered how you and Brodie met and I just wanted to say thank you for answering, that was a sweet story! I also loved hearing about how you handle different feedback on your style, I often find myself toning down my look because I just don't know how to handle it myself.
It's strange how different people have different reactions to people's rude comments. You say that you often tone it down if people are rude to you. To be completely honest, I do the exact opposite. I often get the "fight" reaction instead of the "flight" reaction. Oh, so you don't like my mohawk? FUCK YOU. I'm going to grow it longer and dye it purple! So you don't like how tall I am? FUCK YOU! Tomorrow I am wearing 8" stilettos! I know it sounds contrary, but people have no reason to be offended solely by my appearance, so if they're going to get offended, I am definitely going to make it worth their while.
@@MadameAbsinthe The weird thing is that I don't really care about what other people think, I just don't want to deal with it/don't know how (like I said). I think I need to follow your lead and try to go back into the fight-mode... I used to be there once, it was much more fun.
Oh jeez! I would absolutely love to, but a lot of them I don't own and have no record of. That's the sad thing about doing custom work sometimes is that once the creation goes to its new home, you never see it again!
I sure am! There is a surprising amount of neat stuff to do in Ontario if you look hard enough. Our little goth gang goes on many a fun and weird adventure around here. Of course, it's not nearly as much as what's in the US and Europe, but we make the best of it!

I am so glad I found your channel. You are so funny. I have always dreamed of being goth. I would love to see a makeup tutorial from you. I love how tell it like it is. I bet you grew up in the 90's are f I can give it a guess. I think that would be cool if you had a human skull.

I am um, "financially challenged"? So . . . I STILL do DIY almost exclusively. I go to goodwill. Lol, surprisingly goodwill is "GOTH CENTRAL!" lol! I've found a LOT of cool stuff at my local Goodwill. Other than that? I order little accessories from Wish, Amazon, and Etsy.
DIY is the way to go! I make/upcycle/DIY almost all of my clothing in some way. Thrift stores are always hit or miss, depending on when you go of course. I have found absolute treasures, but I have also left with absolutely nothing. As for things I outright purchase, being a small business owner as well as an artist, I always advocate shopping local, shopping small and supporting artists over buying online (especially from Wish - I have known artists who have had their designs ripped off by them with no credit given and Wish even stole their product photos! Plus many other horror stories; I could go on for hours . . .but that's a rant for another time). Supporting small local businesses and artists is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. If you've watched my Why I No Longer Like Halloween video, you will know why.
@@MadameAbsinthe believe me, if I had any local businesses which sold my kind of apparel, I would definitely support them! Yes, wish has fucked me over before, but I always use a prepaid shopping card so at least they can't rob me blind. Yes, you are of course correct: local and small is best. 💜
I would've loved to meet Sir Bowie as well, he was so sexy in the Labyrinth. I love Manson as well, the Holywood album was the first one I ever had, I was like 12 or 13.

@@MadameAbsinthe Check it out! It's music that started in the late 50's in Detroit and centers around soul and rhythm and blues. Artists like Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, Spinners, Smokey Robinson, The Miracles, among others. You've heard of these probably. All American.
No, not that I am aware of! I have a friend who is very into ghosts and spirits and talks to me about it sometimes, but I haven't seen anything like that personally
It's actually my friend Mary and she has been in several of my videos! If you watch my birthday vlog from 2 years ago, I think she talks about seeing a spirit in an old house we visited.

Can't wait for the piercing video. Just how many do you have? I've got 38 at the mo. Would of been 39 with a right side rook, but my ear decided to swell up and push the ball bit off and the earring out.😭😭😭 Like you my first was the lobe when I was a young teen @1982.. My last ones, where back in April, had septum and two spikes done at the very top of my left ear. Not sure what age you are? But do you find people's opinions on how you should be when your older, really suck and you feel you almost have to fight for your freedom to be individual. I'm now 50 and find some people's unwanted opinions (usually older women) utterly narrow minded, pathetic and sad. Screw what society thinks.. if I wanna dye my hair purple, or whatever.. why the hell not? Live ya life that's what I say.
I currently have 49 piercings. And I completely agree! Live your life however YOU want! Look however you want! It literally does not affect anyone but you and therefore their opinions should mean nothing to you. If it makes you happy, that's all that matters.
