I feel like it's a bit unreasonable to not at least give this guy a second chance. He is after all a human being, I'm sure many of us have probably said things were not proud of either, and at least he made a good and what it looks like to me a sincere apology video. All of us have dark pasts so we should really cut this man some slack about the whole situation.

It sucks because I was there on Gavin’s IG supporting his visions. I was there for his Smallville inspired “Spider-Man: The Series” posts, the fan castings for it, the edited opening credits with the music, then when he first announced Lotus. Hearing what was going on behind the scenes and in those texts was disturbing, off-putting, and for lack of a better word: depressing as hell.

Warden actually came out with a statement saying that he grew up in a racist community and was kinda sheltered from the outside world and didn’t know that what he was saying was wrong and when he was able to get out into the world and actually interact with people who weren’t racist he realised the error of his ways and that what he said and did was wrong. It was a long time ago when they were kids. People say edgy shit just to be edgy when they are kids. People grow and changed. They apologized and I think it's time for everyone to move on and grow up. It's not that big of a deal. I enjoyed the movie by the way. Recommended to any Spider-Man fan, especially if you've read a lot of the classic comics so many awesome references.
