To keep the Oreo theories going, here's something to consider: could Oreos being "Milk's favorite cookie" have something to do with the fact that you don't need milk to make Oreos? This came to me after I saw the ingredients used to make them and I thought, 'That's unusual for a cookie,' as you would usually expect for every cookie you eat to be made with milk. Or, at least, I did anyways.
Also on a certain milk brand which i forgot it was like a few years ago on the label that something talking about chocolate chips being what it’s suppose to go with. So seems like milk doesn’t think the same about oreo.
Milk isn't really a thing you use to make cookies. To make the chocolate or chocolate flavoring, possibly. To make the creme in the middle? Probably. But for plain ol' chocolate chip cookies, there's no milk. Dairy, yes, in the form of butter; Milk, no.
You haven't made many cookies then, have you? I don't know of any that uses milk. Sugar, butter, flour, flavorings and add-ins are your basic cookie ingredients. Absolutely no milk in chocolate chip cookies. Unless you use milk chocolate chips. But semi-sweet are best.

I was watching this video on the living room TV (while eating Oreos), and my mom commented on how for so much of her life she'd thought that Hydrox was the knockoff brand, and how surprised she'd been when she found out that it was the other way around.
Food placement on retail shelves is definitely a cutthroat business. My former employer had me work closely with a rep from a leading candy company. During Halloween, we were told to literally bury the competition on endcaps and floor displays. Now that's an interesting story.
I never realized how the little Oreo became the main villain to hydrox and pushed it off to the edge of the market business, I will never see Oreo the same ever again
You know I instinctively fastforwarded through the intro because that’s what I always do on UA-cam, but then I was like “wait what am I doing, I love this intro” and reminded to make sure I watched it 😅 y’all are great

@@placeholder_009 I dont think they meant that, they literally went in for one thing so I dont think that one and only thing would be food, maybe soap or a small item they forgot they didnt have
@@placeholder_009 The point is that grocery store marketing is manipulative. They went in for ONE thing. That means they had a list (even though technically not a list since it was just one thing) and came out with 6 things that they didn't need. Walk through your local grocery store and go to the cereal aisle. I guarantee things like Cap'n Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Reese's Puffs, etc (those unhealthy breakfast cereals kids like) are closer to the bottom/eye level while healthier stuff (Life, Cheerios, Special K, etc) are closer to the top. Why? Cuz kids are short so those unhealthy cereals geared towards kids are at eye levels for kids. A lot of stuff is this way and it's purposefully set up that way in grocery stores. Right down to those cheap candies and mints at the checkout line. Cuz then you have to wait while the temptation of your favorite candy bar is right there and it's only like a dollar so why not? That's the point amy was trying to make.
