Tried the new update out with some friends and honestly it's way more difficult to progress in the early stages because of the npc changes. The fact that every npc has moves is absurd because of how much damage they do (I had full iron and almost got half health'd by a bandit with a pistol). If you could fix the damage or somehow make it scale with the amount of doriki the player has that'd be great cause it makes the mod unplayable. 🙏🙏

@@Miraak.0 A 1.20.1 port is in the works and a lot of oyher content has already been made! We are just working on both 1.16.5 and 1.20.1 as the SAME time! Once we get done with the 0.10.X Series we'll most likely stop 1.16.5 and stick with the modern version!

This looks aw3some 👏👏 one thing I feel Is a must in these mods is making sure structures and special mobs are not frequent. The amount of one peice mods and mods in general I've played where every 10 blocks is a boss or npc and around every corner is a massive structure
I belive this mainly because a big aspect of minecraft is exploring. So if everything in the mod is right next to you at all times it can be overwhelming and there will be no sense of reward when finding one
Are you aware about how overpowered npc’s are in hard and hardcore? Most grunts one shot iron armor, and a some brutes one shot full diamond, this means it’s almost impossible to play as pirates now, forcing you to play as marines, BUT you still have to deal with bandits, you need at least 90 hearts to solo marine bases, besides that, the mod is definitely my favorite, and I can’t wait to see further development.
Mine mine no mi has always been one of my favorite mods, and it's amazing to think there's an entirely new update and a lot more planned. It's so awesome! keep up all the amazing work!
This update is amazing, the only reason why I didn't play this mod more often is because of it not having enough pve, so I think this update is perfect and I will definitly play it a lot!

Can you do something so devil fruits get stronger over time like doriki and haki exp. For example if I eat the diamond fruit when I use diamond body I start with +20 armour but if I train the devil fruit I can have a +100 armour and make the max changeable in configs. Also can you increase the max amount of haki in the configs so it can go to 500 or 1000 max?
Could you maybe add a system where one could change the color of moves? Like change the color of Goro, and maybe haki, to another color via hex-codes or a color wheel? (Also, great job on the additions/changes, they're great! Cant wait for the Dial recipies.)
One thing i noticed playing this mod is that you cant use three sword style and i think it would be cool even if only visual that theres some way you can use three swords

Thanks for the video and I’m loving the public test build! I have a suggestion if you guys take suggestions. Using the new flags in this update, do you think it’d be possible to effect the NPC spawns? For example, if you were a pirate and set down a crew flag, there would be less chance of a faction NPC to spawn around a certain radius the higher your doriki (kind of like an infamy thing). It could work with marines too with the same concept but letting marines spawn to take advantage of the command mechanic

also when ur using the kick barrage for black leg it should make ur character hover in the air for a lil bit to imitate your character jumping then kicking downwards

Hey there was a little issue I use a powerful laptop and once i loaded up the mod i was getting severe performance issues with 0.10.1 and i couldnt play at all.
Is their anyway to make the *Eureka! Ships! for Valkyrien Skies* mod work with this mod since every time I try to use it with this mod it either crashes or crashes when loading a challenge. (worst case I may need to find a new ship mod)
Guys if u wanna access gear 5 right now all ya got to do is go to the common config file of the mod, click ctrl + f, search "awaken", then enable it by replacing false with true and make sure you also have the other awakening setting set to true also because any option you want to change has 2 options you need to change, after you that, save your changes then enter the world, type /ability awaken (Username) Edit: note that all the abilities aren't there because these things take time so if you want all the powers this is what you can do for now: they currently have gum gum dawn whip, gum gum gigant, and bajrang gun replacing pistol, all moves can only be used while transformed.
ngl woulda been better if bosses spawn like world events so they can just pull up in your own world. Just makes the mod feel more immersive n natural compared to teleporting to some other dimension just to box up 1 npc.

I like the new commands you can do to marines and the animals. It makes way for some devil fruits too like hobi, muchi and kibi The duck is cute too I don’t like sulong being so short though. The ability is so situational I don’t think I’d have it on my main hot bar, but having it be on my 2nd hot bar would mean when it’s full moon I’d have to switch to it constantly because it’s so short. So I’d have to put it on my main hot bar when it’s full moon?
Agreed I hate how Sulong feels currently. While it's buffs are CRAZY its shortness makes it useless in my eyes cause if you dont hit your attacks or the enemy RUNS then its useless...
@@wr8ththaking You can tame any Dugong besides the Master one! Plus you can breed them to improve their stats (For example if both parents have haki the child has a 80% chance for it) Edit: Course the Wandering Dugongs are the strongest, besides properly breed Dugongs!

You can change it somewhere in the config files. I read about it on the wiki page about this mod

nvm fixed it by deleting my shaders and lowering render distance
