I have seen every live stream available of this band. I guarantee all the ladies are great musicians. When they break Guitar strings and the sound changes mildly, you know they are live. Also Rolling Quartz is considered K-Rock or Alternative Rock!
No, Iree never stops smiling and it makes me smile just watch her. Jeongeun the drummer is great in all ways. Arem the Bass is an absolute killer. All ladies here are on point. Check out their list of covers.
As you probably have guessed from the offline concert you went to but Lindsey is their official English interpreter who’s normally there during their online concerts that’s why she was able to help with the translation of some of their music videos.
And, yeah, in both collabs: Alexa holds her own no question with RQ on the rock concept while the girls of RQ have literally NO problem holding their own on camera with a dead-ass idol. They clearly have SOOOOO much fun together, and it comes through so hard, even through a UA-cam M/V.

Rolling Quartz is a great band! Another great Korean rock band is DIH that you might find interesting. Their live version of "Break Out" is a great introduction to the band. I have yet to find a song or video that I didn't like from DIH.
You mentioned Sunmi! 😻💜 I def see it! Rolling Quartz are always amazing. Azalea is my fave. It just really builds the more you listen to it. At some point you need to watch Alexa’s Xtra with Rolling Quartz (Exclusive Rock Version). The work sooooo well together.
You know what’s interesting to me? They have over 200k subscribers and yet the majority of their videos can hardly scratch 40k views. WHERE ARE THE ACTUAL DIADEMS? Cuz it’s insane and doesn’t make any sense at all to me. The minute I was introduced to this band… I watched every damn video. Just looks and feels like there are a lot of fake fans around nowadays and it’s so sad cuz these ladies deserve so much more

Edit: Well, about Jayoung vocal, i have to mention that Jayoung has a formation as Vocal coach too. So imagine being a singer with a great voice already and add the knowledge of a Vocal coach to that. That make a very very Top High-tier singer with lot of power AND vocal technic too. Edit2: About AleXa and Rolling Quartz, in fact this is their second collabs, a few years ago they did a Rock version of AleXa song "EXtra" with AleXa of course.
The show was incredible! I think Yeongeun and Iree are my biases with Jayoung always being there too as she is with everyone. Unfortunately the drum kit was set so far back at the show I barely got to see Yeongeun at all
I’m so late watching this but I’m a new diadem. They actually do perform here in Canada. They LOVE Canada and even said in their UA-cam concert at the end of September that they love it so much, they want to move here. They performed at last years and this years Korean Festival in Toronto. ATM they’re on their European tour but hoping to come back in the new year. Jayoung’s voice was MADE for this genre. Iree and Hyunjung are the best “new” guitarist I’ve seen debut in the world. Arem❤ my bias and Yeongeun my wrecker🖤
14:54 i had to laugh when you said you think arem is tall. based on their cover of xtra, they're like alexa's height, so around 4'9, hyunjung could be maybe 5'1 on a good day, probably same for arem, yeongeun looks a tiiiiiiny bit taller than jayoung so i'd guess like maybe 5'0 for her, jayoung a little shorter, but only a tiny bit, and iree is probably like 4'10 if i'm being honest with you, she's tiny

Lindsey (eng translator) actually a staff. she always there when RQ having online concert. actually there's esp translator too but I forgot the name.
It's not uncommon for drummers to play barefoot. They feel it gives them more control.
