S4E77 Raccoons Killed Chicks in My Chicken Tractor - Time to Modify it!

Hi Guys! I'm finally back after a tech-induced period of absence. I'm pretty sure that THIS TIME I've finally got it figured out!
In this video, I show a bunch of the stuff I've been up to, and then I discuss the impact of the winter season on forage production for the steers as well as take on the challenge of raccoon proofing my Suscovich style chicken tractor.

I used two feet hardware cloth all around on and slightly under the edge. Secured for mowing over edge by tent pegs.

2x4 with nails into the ground. Like a bear slab to keep bears out.

I was thinking you would put the horizontal part UNDER the chicken tractor.

I thought about it, but my goal was to extend the exterior guard further from the broilers inside. If I ran it under the tractor, I'd lose the 1.5" that the 2x4 was already providing. By affixing it to the exterior, I get the most benefit from the 5" piece of PVC. I appreciate the feedback - thanks for watching!
