There has only ever been one live performance of 'Tales of the Destinies' - Tokyo Dome 2016 (and it leads into 'The One' which was the show finale). Here it is is you want to do it, but it will have to be Link & Sync vk.com/video408956197_456239019 (and it is 20 minutes if you do the whole thing)
Holy smokes dude! Thanks so much for posting the link to this. That was amazing! The little 1800's saloon dance that yui and moa did during the piano in 'Tales of the Destinies' was beyond perfect.
@@dwaynediamond6431 ToD Tokyo Dome is kind of the pinnacle of the original trio. All the crazy tempo changes, etc.

Saw this live at the Tokyo Dome in 2016! Such a technically intense song and yet they nailed it... Amazing.
"Is this dubstep?" Haha, no, it's prog rock (like Dream Theater prog rock). When they were in Sakura Gakuin all the girls designed their own T-shirts. Yui had one with a skull, Moa had one with hearts - the skull and the hearts on the Babymetal logo are borrowed from there. The wings represent Su (from her Karen Girl's song 'My Wings').
So technically I was wrong to say in my post that the wings are Su's creation... She was the influence, not the creator.? :)
@@jeffschreifels8651 I honestly couldn't say which of us is right, but this was my understanding based on things I have read - and it definitely wasn't from her T-shirt design as that had a yellow sunflower.

You know, when you think about it, the Babymetal logo could have ended up with ears instead of wings. :-)
The skull was designed by Yui. You will also notice the inside of the B's are hearts. Those are from Moa. The wings are Su's creation. :)
The shuttle easter eggs are what drawl me in

How great is this song? How crazy is it that BABYMETAL has so many great songs that everybody hasn't been screaming at you since day 1 that you have to hear this?
Yeah it kind of ends abruptly with a transition to the One, was originally one song.
I had to listen to this song at least ten times to fully get it, back then. And yes, at the album this song transitions into "The One". Originally, both songs were supposed to be one song. But in the end, Koba (the producer) decided to split them. But they still have this beautiful piano-bridge.

Dirty10 it’s all good. 🙂 And good job rewinding after pausing. Helps ensure you get to react to the transitions. Lots of reactors think the best place to stop is at the end a section - it is not!! Best place is in the middle if a measure and then rewind to get transition like the artist intended. 🙂. You have to see the live compilation of this song. They played it live in front of 55,000 people!
The logo. Look at Yui and Moa's t-shirts in ths vid: ua-cam.com/video/NVQObKfApJM/v-deo.html. Su's part is the wings and came from Karen Girls. All before Babymetal was a concept. They were combined in a Metallica-honourific logo. Yui, Moa and Su will forever live on together even if just in the logo.

You were hearing 2 parts of The One, which is what's familiar.
As an old prog-head and a big fan of Cardiacs since the '80s, I find the changes and transitions well within my processing capabilities, ha ha. I love Tales of the Destinies, which, as others have said, is one half of a diptych with THE ONE. I like your comment about the guitars playing like violins. The One was cool to see because of the setting and all but i'd be cool to see Destinies and skip the One :) That song drags on too long. I'd be cool with it being cut down to 2 minutes and being the end of Destinies.
8:00, yes, because these 2 song are meant to play together, and the one is the next track on the album .
I have been a huge Dream Theater fan for two decades, so this is right in my ballpark. It's awesome!

The only way to process it, is to watch it live, so bad it is so hard to perform, and without Yui is not going to be the same.

@@Dirty10 If its on the same song you need to report that to youtube. Was they issue a takedown and don't contest the appeal they aren't allowed to issue another one. Same with copyright strikes. It violates the DMCA to issue multiples on the same video.
