wow, you just solved my 2 year battle with this problem. Can you explain what the switch does? and why it wasnt working before (fixed 2011 qashqi)
That switch is turning on and off when the key is in ignition. So when is faulty it keeps seeing the key in

I did what you said, in a Qashqai 2009 model and it worked! I wanted to ask (if you know of course) if it should be a problem leaving the switch out of its place.

@@VIDEOSFROMKARNS-jy8uh my key sometimes turns the switch on and off, but not always! The key slightly touches the switch, and then the central lock does not work and I have to lock the doors manually, with the key inserted to the driver's door. I hope that I explained it correctly ...

Is the switch for the remote control. That switch is on and off when you insert or take out the key from the ignition. The remote is not working when the key is in the ignition.
