Oh dear. Just realized that J passed. What a gift he was for you all and for us.
A real man carries his brother when he can't go on❤
Oh, baby Jager :-) One of his last big adventures? You can tell he wanted to be young and agile and part of the family. Kudos to Matt for the carry. RIP baby.
@@tillyriata7410 , yes I knew this must be an old episode since Jager was in it. They've stated that they produce vids in advance of release because of schedule but it can definitely be confusing. Maybe a footage recording date would be helpful???
That's a good point Belizy. I always enter in the recording date when I upload a new video, but never released that UA-cam doesn't seem to display it anywhere. I'll have to see if that is a setting I can change or something.
Let me know what you find about that ... we'd benefit from that too!
@@GettinBelizy I guess the recording date that I put on the videos in "advanced settings" when I upload is just for UA-cam's sake, because I can't find any way of sharing it with viewers or seeing it on anyone else's videos. I suppose you could add it to the discretion box if you want to share it with your audience.
Gotchya.
I'm pretty sure that if someone had asked "who's a good boy?" at 9:28, Jags would have said "It's Matt!!! Matt's a good boy!" Well done on that puppy portage!
Thanks Scott
Fun episode! Blue Beauty and Jags definitely contributing to the drama. Breakfast sammys looked tasty!
I love Nicaragua for ever
I love these adventures
Amazing vlog series! Binge watching the adventures! Carrying Jager much respect
Thanks, Glad you're enjoying it!
Ooo yes my nicaragüa. Yes is beautiful.
If you guys have not already gone you should check out El Tránsito Nicaragua. Great little surf fishing village off the beaten path
Too cool guys👍
Thanks for sharing! We've been loving your journey through Central America and it actually helped us plan our own! We just wrapped up 6 six weeks in Nicaragua and just posted our 18th video on our UA-cam Channel.
nice! enjoy the journey
Wow that’s love ❤️ carry dog up the steep
Beautifoul NIcaragua 🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮
Camo Dave gave you a shout-out, so here I am! :)
Welcome Danny. We have quite a different style than Dave, but I hope you enjoy it. Try a few and let us know what you think.
Great video
Look at that old fella go! Not you Matt. Great episode people.
hahaha. He was a solid adventure buddy for 16 good years
EXCELENTE VIDEO AMIGOS POR FAVOR ACTIVEN EL SUBTITULO EN ESPAÑOL ME GUSTA SU AVENTURA SALUDOS
😎🌮👍
🤦🏽♂️Dude; I’m old and busted like Jager.... Need a strong young buck like u to help a brotha out! 🤣😂🤣😂
😂
I really enjoyed your video, thanks for your job!)
But one question ... what language do you speak with foreign accent , english or spanish???
We are from West Coast USA. So that is our accent in English. And we admittedly struggle with learning Spanish and I'm sure our pronunciation is regularly incorrect.
@@TheTravelingTogetherJournal I see!
What tires did you choose for your adventuress?
BFG All Terrain Ko2
I've been happy with them.
Did I miss something? Didn't really expect to see it but "Lava"...
It sounds like you may have missed episode 53. (this comment is written on episode 54)
Here's a link to 53 ua-cam.com/video/cbCoHzTlWE8/v-deo.html
and there is LAVA
Hi loves! My car is a 96 and I’m moving to Ometepe next week. Someone told me I can’t take a car more than 10years old to Nica? It looks like y’alls car may be older, did you guys have trouble with that?
Our car is a 1995. No trouble for us, but we only needed a Temporary import permit to travel through the country for up to 90 days. You will need to properly import your vehicle if you are moving there and I unfortunately don't have any info on that for you. safe travels
As far as I know the country have these rule for importing vehicles up to 10 yrs of age, bc back in the day when I was a kid people used to import very old vehicles in really bad shape and they used to turn into a nuisance on the streets, Los of modification made the vehicle caught fire or breaking up constantly was the Norm in those days, creating traffic jams etc...
So was the island worth it? We are planning a trip similar to yours for next year, with two kids and two dogs! Yikes.
It's funny how one traveler can LOVE a place and the next traveler just thinks it's another ok stop along the way.
We enjoyed it. There is a decent number of hikes and attractions, but of course It is a well established tourist area and we were just anther of the many tourist tromping around. If you are moving fast, it may not be worth it due to the extra time/hassle of taking ferries.
@@TheTravelingTogetherJournal How right you are. Since we have a lot of ground to cover in a year (USA-Argentina), we may skip that one. We definitely plan on some of the Mexico West coast and Costa Rica surf spots that you guys seemed to enjoy, though!
@@motoprof3672 Everyone who goes on a trip like this does so for their own reasons and with their own goals, but I will offer a piece of unsolicited advice from our experience and from the travelers that we met along the way.
Try not to get attached to the destination. If your budget or other constraints limit you to one year (a long and fortunate amount of time to have) then just plan on traveling for one year and getting however far you get. When we met people fixated on getting to Argentina in 1 year or less, they often left places before they wanted to or skipped a lot of stuff because it wasn't on their south-bound rout. It took us a little more than a year to get to Panama. We met one couple that planned to make it to Argentina on a 2 year trip, but they were 18 months in and had only made into Nicaragua, but they were having a fantastic time and seeing everything each country had to offer.
Sorry for giving you advice you didn't ask for. I just felt compelled after meeting so many people that "couldn't" make a 50 mile detour to do something cool because they needed to get further south to stay on schedule.
I would like to know if they have had any robbery an in which country o place.
No robbery.
It does happen in every country around the world of course, but we were carful and lucky and never had anything stolen.
The water so ugly there :(
Carry a tire plug kit, diy. Next time u may be unable to make it to a shop. Just saying.
We carried a plug kit, but always ended up throwing the spare on and making it into a shop for a better patch job. Had the plugs just incase though.
You've motivated us to travel Central America for a year, starting in Guatemala! Check out our vids, we'd love feedback!
Surprised you're not equipped to plug a hole in a tire. It's a basic DIY skill and cheap tool.
I carry plugs, but not the tools to easily remove the tire from the rim to do an internal patch like the guy in the shop. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the internal patch is a more durable solution than the plug or cord style patch. Plus, at the rate he charged getting the tire patched in Nicaragua was cheaper than what I payed for my cord style repair kit in the USA.
@@TheTravelingTogetherJournal here in the US, to put a plug I usually pay between 10 to 15 bucks. So definitely cheaper over there in Paisito!!
What was the reason to go to those poor and criminal countries ?)
There are wide choice to visit other safe spanish spoken countries , Columbia, Argentina... In south America.
I don't think of them as criminal countries. They are cheaper to travel through than wealthy countries and they have beautiful, natural places with out the crowds of the USA.
@@TheTravelingTogetherJournal Thats true!
I also like nature and places without human intervention in nature ..It is terrible to see large territory
chopped woods just because to build some nasy megapolis. I dont like large cities and high buildings and also dislike that your videos have a few views.. it seems poeple became so stupid in our days ... if someone taped a video about Iphone or other shit ... he gathers about billions views or over ..
You are doing good things , good luck with your trip!!!
Is not as bad as you might think, I stop believing the mass media and international news of mass consumption long time ago!! They are not accurate
Hahhayhos this x
Comment sucks
