Listened to this phenomenal work probably near 100 times. Genuinely think it to be one of the best piano concertos ever, and this recording has so much soul to it. Big props to the bass, electric guitar and drumkit players, they are so instrumental to keeping the piece ticking along, as well as of course the irreplaceable A Bu.
Fabulous! Forget the magnificent piano work, the great ensemble, the promotion of Kapustin's music, which is always a good thing...I was happy to learn that a relative of NK lives in the US! 😁
