Like someone else mentioned, I really wish TGC would block off the barriers to the wind paths until the bug is fixed. This would not only help players from losing their progress but would also help TGC from getting swarmed by future accounts that would get bugged.
i mean, that's easier said than done. they'd have to program barriers that would block it and in that case they might as well just program a fix for it lol. it's kinda unnecessary bc it'll be fixed pretty soon

And yes, it should be fixed soon, but it’s been well over a week and people are still losing their seasonal progress, which is, in my opinion, much more of a detailed process vs programming a barrier. When you consider how many accounts will have been bugged, and then having to investigate each individual account to make sure that they did indeed lose their seasonal progress then programming a barrier doesn’t seem like such a big deal.

bruh i candle run through wind paths - it takes me to candle cake areas such as hermit valley (without wind paths it takes forever to get there for the candle cake)
for new players who doesnt know where or wind paths is: after u go into the hidden forest door from home, u gotta fly a bit higher to the right instead of flying down inside the forest. its an area added to the game with the season of flight. If you do all the missions of anchestor spirit there u will unlock short cuts to a few areas. some shorts cuts are really usefull bug happens when: 1- you go to wind paths 2-return home from there 3-restart the game. You will see all ur seasonal candles will turn into normal candles and there is no way to have them back
@@omori-kid8602 there is an area called "wind path" with floating islands in it fhgfg u can directly go there from hidden forest gate but if ur asking for the short cuts probably the one on forgotton ark is the most easy to reach. ones you get there with the normal way just fly back inside the clouds and u should see an openning if u cant find it try the one in trails cave. Ones ur in the cave dont enter any trail room, stay in the middle and look up, u should see an openning on the ceiling. fly there and u will see the path right away :d

@syllvehr_anjehllo they would be in hidden forest.... When you first enter and start to fly it'll be on more top right. Now with that being said ... That is not the only way of getting to the wind paths :')) but there is typically a arrow statue near the other openings letting you know that will take you to the wind paths.
I went through there a couple of times with a friend and my screen kept on going white but thankfully my progress was not loss and thank you for warning us !!✨✨✨
I don't even do the wind paths to begin with so I should be fine. I get on, do my quests, collect a few candles at Geyser and Granny and then get off. However, I seriously hope for those that have suffered this bug, I hope TGC restores or compensates those that have been affected. Especially those that have bought the pass. I travel almost exclusive via wind paths, and nothing has happened to me yet. I think you just cant go home directly from the area. If you go to a different region like the cave of prophecies and then travel home, it's fine from what I see.

Okay I’m sorry but I’m a newer player: what are the wind paths? Is it the part of clouds leading to a new location (regardless I’ve been playing for about a month but still)
in order to go to the wind paths area you jump into hidden forest door at home, after that if u dive down u will go to hidden forest right? so u dont do that but the opposite. ıf u fly a little higher and turn to right u will see the enterance to wind paths. ı think checkin where the enterence is should be fine so go check it out. Inside wind paths area there is an anchestor spirit and if u do all the mission it has, you will unlock short cuts to some other areas such as forgottan ark, little prince area, hermit valley, cave of prophicy etc.
it's in hidden forest behind a spirit wall with a pretty arch before it. you won't really stumble there normally playing but be careful, in some places a tunnel in the clouds will also lead there

It's that location in Hidden Forest where you can go through passages that lead to different map. The gate is on the right side--slighty above of social space/the first checkpoint where you can modify your clothing. Fly up and you can see an entrance gate there.

the progress that has been lost is some people's seasonal candles and hearts had converted to normal candles and hearts after loging back in.

It's that location in Hidden Forest where you can go through passages that lead to different map. The gate is on the right side--slighty above of social space/the first checkpoint where you can modify your clothing. Fly up and you can see an entrance gate there.

@@m.ailooo glad to help! iirc, devs have put roadblocks in front of the gate to prevent anyone to access the tunnel. it's such a shame I haven't collected one wl there sigh.
Edit: looks like the roadblock has been lifted.
