Interessting! My candle run routine is pretty similar. Only thing I do different is take the big manta in Sanctuary at the end and visit the wind paths. Collecting the candle cake there and then swoop trough the Ark, the Yeti Hill and the Cavern bevore I return home.

Honestly yeah Valley is so time consuming and I find myself not wanting to candle run there. When I absolutely don't want to I head to Valley of Dreams, get the two candle cakes and do the music sheet of the day because it's fun. Then I head back home.
Sharing my daily candle run routine, 17-18 candles, 3 realms!💕 I follow a schedule! 30 minutes before geyser, I run all parts of prarie, in time for geyser. Once geyser is done, I head on to forest until the second area, just in time for my visit to grandma (she gives a shit ton of wax) and finish up to the forest temple. Next, I either do GW, Valley, or Vault. I always do vault though and glitch through with a friend.😎🙏😎 All in all, my daily run is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Sometimes though, I fly fast enough to finish prarie in 15 mins, and do vault before geyser starts (15 minutes with a friend using rocket and chibifall, but always find time to help opening doors!). So you can also do this in 1 hour. But if you're satisfied with 15 candles, you can just do prarie, geyser, forest and grandma.💕 Also, I agree with Lumina! I highly recommend listening to music/podcasts while running! I usually get so sleepy while doing geyser. So aside fromy friend's spam honks, I listen to podcasts🤪 Happy running! Edit: sorry its gonna be almost 2 hours, depending on how fast you candle run the realms (glitches and all :))

My fav map is hands down Prairie!!!! You can collect around 7-8 candles ( I guess, coz I never click on my candles before finishing my CR) by doing the entire prarie map!!
It’s very interesting to see how everyone candle runs What I’ve been doing for a good while now depending on when I log in is either go to one of the wax events or starting with the candle cake realm going 100% of all wax if possible then doing the realm where the daily tasks are. Then I go to valley into village of dreams to get the cakes, into hermit cave to go into wind paths. After I get the cake I go to all paths expect forest and wasteland path, only if I need to go in for some extra wax or task. Sometimes I leave going to sanctuary for last from wind paths since it’s hard to get back in from the entrance or I go to the isle path to leave the cave for the rest of the cakes in isle. Getting the cakes through wind paths really helps with the quickness. Vault with the cakes is especially helpful with the cakes already there in the realm so take advantage when it’s vault cake day. I try not to stress about the wax events if I miss the timing or if I’m late because getting 20 a day is stressful but gotta remember, it’s just a candle. (Time stamp purposes today of comment is launch of season of revival)
I've done this for about two months now, thank you for the resource. I average about 19 candles a day using this route as well as using the other resources provided for us ( wax events and daily music challenge ). Been a massive help, thank you again!
Your cr route is so much better than mine :0!!!!! If I have motivation, I'll go through Vault, then I'll go to Sanctuary Islands (I always forget about the existence of the 8 player door T-T), then I'll go to Grandmas and maybe or maybe not finish Forest, and then if I REALLY have motivation I'll do Valley. Why is Valley so tiring?!?!?!?!?! But I've been grinding a lot recently and so I'm tired. And since I'm tired, I'm just gonna max out grandma and geyser so I don't have to cr lol.
I only go after fixed candle cakes and some candles along the way and the fire trial, so I get about 12-13 candles per day (+ 4 from daily quest) so I get 17 candles at least consistently everyday. I'm too tired to collect every single wax...
after I go through the sunny forest place, I head for that last structure so it stops the rain to make it easier to fly around! (sorry idk names of places i’m still a noob lol)
My cr routine is: wake up in time to go to grandma bake some buns, rush to sanctuary to collect shells and turtle wax, finish collecting wax from there, go Forest (my favorite realm 💖) if I couldn't get all wax before, go just Dreams area + visit Yeti and use wind path behind to get the cake then go trials (I was training the glitches hehe). I try to get to grey candle, so if needed I go to vault (with chibi mask). I definitely skip Wasteland with all my forces. I prefer doing trials than going visit krills 💀
I make the geyser time coincide, I start geyser+grandma, I continue through the forest, I return to prairie to finish and Third map of valley of triumph, complete last candles in vault,
isle of sanctuary is my face cr spot😭 also, normally takes me just over an hour, usually 1hr30 mins for me to do cr from isle of dawn to valley completely. i get around 18 candles
I do have a similar route it’s just that instead I get 11 candles in 3 maps 💀 so I’ll definitely use this method as I have my dream ts here rn and I’m so close to getting they’re cape : D Thankuu
I usually start with geyser and either farm butterfly fields and sanctuary before it starts. Then depending on the dailies, I will either run the realm that has them or do most of forest other than the temple gardens. Reach in time for granny and maybe turtle event. After that I do the rotating cakes and the cakes in valley, going through windpaths for that one cake and then to little prince cake. With that i can usually reach 15 candles and more in about 45 mins to one hour. I do all of this at reset tho cause that's the time i'm most likely free and i get scared that i wouldn't get this perfect stretch of time. If i'm extra active i usually do flying race cause i can skip around its map and vault cause its a peaceful place and i don't need to worry about rain or krill
For me it's first three areas of forest, all of dawn plus trials, vault, prairie, valley village of dreams area, wind path candle cake and also into hermit valley candle cake, then backtrack from golden wasteland social space for valley end candles
@@lostcookie5752 it's the colour the candle icon goes after getting a LOT of wax. It basically shows you can't collect anymore wax but from what I heard, you still can but it will take a very very long time 😶

oooh this is really interesting, thank you for sharing these tips with us! i usually do forest (for note planting and clearing from a discord im in), the daily quest realm, and the candle cake realm, all a full run. sometimes i go by prairie or golden wasteland if i have time, but i usually only do these three (one more if one of the last two involve the forest) I noticed that recently, the darkness plant in the graveyard in gw doesn't break or server merge anymore. i had this trick that worked every time but with the past few runs, it's stopped breaking. i will wait several minutes trying to wait for it to break but nothing :( does anyone have any tips or tricks for that?
currently ( at least from my daily experience) 🙃it’s only possible to get 19 candles per day. I mean after you get 19 candles wax will be collectible but won’t add to your candles! Have a great day ❤️ Also luv the vid
We use to be able to get 24 but TGC reduce it too 21 I think.. from what I've been told by a few people. But I'm too lazy to do a full cr myself to make sure 100% 😂
@@LuminaSky Yeah, i tried to do a full candle run today and yesterday and at some point during it would stop me from being able to collect wax...both times i only got to 19 candles. sad cus i have so much time i wish i could get more 🥹
@@cityinsect same. If we're not in a season, the dailies will give us 4 candles if completed. Then, it's possible to obtain enough wax to get 21 candles but you have to push for that, otherwise it's 20. So outside of a season, max candles per day would be 24-25. During a season, it's 20-21 max since dailies will give you 4 seasonal candles (with option to obtain a 5th by collecting the seasonal wax).
i usually do 2 rounds of grandma, forest and prairie usually with whatever quest realm! easy 15+ candles this is not very time efficient 😅 but it prevents burnout for me
Cool route. My cr is all the wax on the way to granny, granny, then the rest of forest. Then vault. I get about 13 to 15 candles doing this. Hope this helps someone.
If you have spare time to go to the events then I guess so.. I don't normally go them because I constantly forget but the event started as I was here so I stayed 🔆

From experience, if you have a consecutive 45 minutes to spend right on the reset hours, going geyser > sanctuary > forest > grandma gives you about 14 - 16 candles at the end of the grandma event! Also grandma event gives more wax at once than the geyser event, if you have to choose one between them.
Cool! This was helpful since it reminded me of some wax spots that I forgot hah! My routine is usually the realms in order, and I collect most if not all the wax, I usually tend to skip GW since I’m still scared of the krill lol, but if someone offers to help then I really don’t mind!
i guess I always run the HARD WAY like literally hard coz after geyser I always enter the trials in isle for the sake of candles there. After the third trial (assume I'll take long because they're still hard to play XD) I'll go to granny to scoop all candles wax there and fly back to the trials again to finish the fourth one. After that, I'll collect the candles first in areas with lots of candle wax (like puzzle area and temple in Valley) because of the arrows beside the candle on top left. Once it reduces to one arrow, then I'll be start candle running fr Isle to Vault AAAAAA fr fr
I've question, when the daily light comes it looks more brighter more big but when do the dailes after some that light fade to nothing I can't even see that there light is or not, main point is., I ones get the 4 treasure candles and those 4 candles can not even forged one regular candle, so my question is there time period or something that at start u get more wax from candles or plants......................?????¿?¿¿¿¿¿???¿??¿
My Candle Run Is A Bit Long, But Its Not Hard Because It Skips 3 Of My Least Favorite Realms To Run, Prarie(excluding islands), Forest, And Wasteland. My Reply Will Hold The Run I Do. But Anyways I Get 20 A Day And It Takes Me Like About An Hour To An Hour And A Half Depending On My Speed. Still Mad Respect To Anyone Doing Wastland That Place Is Just Asking To Kill All Players ^^'

for me I just do the entirety of Prairie and then whatever the treasure cake realm is, and then go to caves to idle by the campfire for a while. Probably not optimal by any means 😂 EDIT because I felt it was important to mention, I play on Switch, so I can leave my switch on and docked while I AFK without needing to use it lol

i used to do: priare cr, geyser event hidden forest cr, grandma event daily treasure candles if i had time Now i do: vault of knowledge cr hidden forest cr, grandma turtle sunset daily treasure candles if i have time What i will probably do if i have to cr but it's not grandma time: Vault of knowledge Hidden forest Daylight priare daily treasure candles if i have time or if im very broke👍 the second method takes less time than the first one but I'll also try the last one 👍
It's part of the older day's of nature event. You get wax and it lasts around 10 minutes i think - There are also other wax events (Turtle in Sanctuary / Granny in forest) The geyser event starts 5/10 minutes after daily reset time. For me reset is at 8am - so the event starts at 08:05 am ✨
my candle run is way more different then urs. i collect all the wax in daylight prarie. i go to bird towers and collect all wax there. i go to sancutuary islands and collect the wax from geyser and all the candle cakes and dark plants. and i go to valley of triumph collecting all wax there, and then i go to final area in valley of triumph and collect all wax there. and thats pretty sure all of it now!!!
I skip valley because it wastes my time, And I go to cr to many amounts of wax like: Prairie full cr Forest full cr Golden Wasteland full cr Vault of knowledge full cr So I get more candles or over 15. (NOTE, please do not copy my route for cr bc I set it as my cr schedule for me to save much time.)

Since the season of aurora started, you can skip the entire race by going to aurora and clicking to the warp button

currently ( at least from my daily experience) 🙃it’s only possible to get 19 candles per day. I mean after you get 19 candles wax will be collectible but won’t add to your candles! Have a great day ❤️ Also luv the vid
We use to be able to get 24 but TGC reduce it too 21 I think.. from what I've been told by a few people. But I'm too lazy to do a full cr myself to make sure 100% 😂
@@LuminaSky Yeah, i tried to do a full candle run today and yesterday and at some point during it would stop me from being able to collect wax...both times i only got to 19 candles. sad cus i have so much time i wish i could get more 🥹

@@cityinsect same. If we're not in a season, the dailies will give us 4 candles if completed. Then, it's possible to obtain enough wax to get 21 candles but you have to push for that, otherwise it's 20. So outside of a season, max candles per day would be 24-25. During a season, it's 20-21 max since dailies will give you 4 seasonal candles (with option to obtain a 5th by collecting the seasonal wax).
i usually do 2 rounds of grandma, forest and prairie usually with whatever quest realm! easy 15+ candles
this is not very time efficient 😅 but it prevents burnout for me
That's what I always say - do a candle run that you enjoy! Even if it isn't efficient, wt least you are having fun and not bored 😂
i usually chibi glitch on the top of the cave at the ice rink in Valley, saves a lot of time tapping and walking inside the cave

Often times when I do Valley I go through it twice, each time doing a different race because you get 1 candle for each race
Cool route. My cr is all the wax on the way to granny, granny, then the rest of forest. Then vault. I get about 13 to 15 candles doing this. Hope this helps someone.

If you have spare time to go to the events then I guess so.. I don't normally go them because I constantly forget but the event started as I was here so I stayed 🔆

They really are!! Started visiting grandma everyday and I'm getting finished with my cr way faster than before!!
From experience, if you have a consecutive 45 minutes to spend right on the reset hours, going geyser > sanctuary > forest > grandma gives you about 14 - 16 candles at the end of the grandma event!
Also grandma event gives more wax at once than the geyser event, if you have to choose one between them.
Cool! This was helpful since it reminded me of some wax spots that I forgot hah! My routine is usually the realms in order, and I collect most if not all the wax, I usually tend to skip GW since I’m still scared of the krill lol, but if someone offers to help then I really don’t mind!

i guess I always run the HARD WAY
like literally hard coz after geyser I always enter the trials in isle for the sake of candles there. After the third trial (assume I'll take long because they're still hard to play XD) I'll go to granny to scoop all candles wax there and fly back to the trials again to finish the fourth one. After that, I'll collect the candles first in areas with lots of candle wax (like puzzle area and temple in Valley) because of the arrows beside the candle on top left. Once it reduces to one arrow, then I'll be start candle running fr Isle to Vault

I've question, when the daily light comes it looks more brighter more big but when do the dailes after some that light fade to nothing I can't even see that there light is or not, main point is., I ones get the 4 treasure candles and those 4 candles can not even forged one regular candle, so my question is there time period or something that at start u get more wax from candles or plants......................?????¿?¿¿¿¿¿???¿??¿
My Candle Run Is A Bit Long, But Its Not Hard Because It Skips 3 Of My Least Favorite Realms To Run, Prarie(excluding islands), Forest, And Wasteland.
My Reply Will Hold The Run I Do. But Anyways I Get 20 A Day And It Takes Me Like About An Hour To An Hour And A Half Depending On My Speed. Still Mad Respect To Anyone Doing Wastland That Place Is Just Asking To Kill All Players ^^'

Oh it takes me an hour to fully cr daylight, valley, forest and vault. I was thinking this would be useful for me if I didnt have an hour
for me I just do the entirety of Prairie and then whatever the treasure cake realm is, and then go to caves to idle by the campfire for a while. Probably not optimal by any means 😂
EDIT because I felt it was important to mention, I play on Switch, so I can leave my switch on and docked while I AFK without needing to use it lol

I do all the portals until the three arrows on the candle icon disappears, but I skip some of the areas you go to
For me the best realms to candle run are daylight, forest, and wasteland
My cr routine is go to the geyser, grandma and turtle, then go through all the maps

vault of knowledge cr

the second method takes less time than the first one but I'll also try the last one 👍

What’s the geyser event? I’ve never seen that before!
It's part of the older day's of nature event.
You get wax and it lasts around 10 minutes i think -
There are also other wax events (Turtle in Sanctuary / Granny in forest)
The geyser event starts 5/10 minutes after daily reset time. For me reset is at 8am - so the event starts at 08:05 am ✨
my candle run is way more different then urs. i collect all the wax in daylight prarie. i go to bird towers and collect all wax there. i go to sancutuary islands and collect the wax from geyser and all the candle cakes and dark plants. and i go to valley of triumph collecting all wax there, and then i go to final area in valley of triumph and collect all wax there. and thats pretty sure all of it now!!!
I get in the day about 21 candles and can't get more 😢
I skip valley because it wastes my time,
And I go to cr to many amounts of wax like:
Prairie full cr
Forest full cr
Golden Wasteland full cr
Vault of knowledge full cr
So I get more candles or over 15.
(NOTE, please do not copy my route for cr bc I set it as my cr schedule for me to save much time.)
