My mom had a maroon a6 with tan leather to replace a pearl white 100cs, like all German cars. Burned a quart a month new and AWD meant tires every 10k. But, a precursor to full sized Porsche AWD sedans and suvs
The 12V V6 in the 100/A6 was known for burning oil with its low tension piston rings. The early AAH was also known for leaking mad amounts of oil from the valley pan, upper and lower oil pans, as well as almost every gasket. The later AFC in the A6 was a bit improved in the leak department.
There were 4 generations of audi 100, 4th was renamed a6 for last years of production.. c3 100 was totally different car, the one u show us photo is c4:)
