Best Lines on Bennett Gap with Cypress Gorry - A Pisgah Stage Race Preview

While shooting Pisgah Stage Race 2023, I noticed a lot of racers struggled with the Bennett Gap section of stage 3. After the race, I went up to Bennett with Cypress Gorry and Colin Johannen. Cypress finished second overall in the pro men's race at Pisgah Stage Race and Colin completed the race on a singlespeed. We sessioned some of the harder sections to see if we could figure out the best way through them and shed some blood in the process.

Minute 16:36. I did the stage race in 2019. I think this section was in the Enduro segment? Also that same day I remember it started raining early morning, race got delay due to rain and never stopped and we were sent out we rain still coming down hard. It was fun, I took 6th in the Enduro with my trusty hardtail 27.5 😉. That section was soo much fun and someday I hope to make my way back there. Awesome video 😎
